We moved here at the beginning of the 4th 9 weeks. I was not at all impressed with the Registrar for Warren Co Schools. The Assistant Principal was very nice. During our tour however teachers we were introduced to griped and balked about getting another new student and already having 21 kids in the classroom. Not very welcoming for sure. Then we met Miss Grim! She immediately volunteers to have my daughter in her class and the very next day had her name on ger desk and two other children very excited for my child to be there. We've had a wonderful experience since then but obviously because of this teacher's actions and welcoming response.

My daughter was enrolled there in kindergarten and first grade. I was uncomfortable with this school. The administration was in middle of a mutiny, the office staff is rude, the school always smelled of urine, the test scores were consistently below standard and the emotional disturbed children ran the halls. It was frightening as a parent, wondering if my child was going to be attacked by one of the emotionally disturbed kids. There was no leadership in the school and it was out of control. My child hated going into this building daily and would beg to stay home. Thank God private school was an option for us.

My daughter is currently in fifth grade and has attended Ressie since kindergarten. My son is currently in kindergarten. This has been a great school for my two kids. Their teachers have been top notch and the students are given multiple opportunities to be involved in different programs. If I ever had a concern it was always resolved over a quick email or a brief phone conversation. Ressie teachers want the students to be successful and have a positive school experience. I have witnessed first hand the hours of time these teachers put in to make Ressie a great place to be for our kids! I urge all parents to not complain, but just communicate concerns and they will be heard. Parents, together with school staff working as a team is how Ressie students will reach high levels! It takes a village. Thank you Ressie teachers, keep doing what you do!

This school was a good school with a lot of caring teachers. However, the current administration leaves a lot to be desired. The ED/BD kids run the halls, destroy equipment and use foul language with no repercussions for their behavior. Thankfully my child is no longer in this environment. I would be very concerned having a child in such an unstable setting 7 hours out of the day five days a week. Someone in the school board needs to wake up and realize this new principal is a joke. The good teachers are all looking for placement elsewhere due to the lack of discipline.

This school is truly devoted to education. I have 2 children currently enrolled. My son is receiving FREE tutoring from the school this year. The administration is attentive and the teachers go above and beyond. I am a member of the PTO at the school and I am amazed by the wonderful activities and what they do to promote education among the students. It's a challenging enviroment but still fun...not an easy task to accomplish.
