I see many negative reviews and most of them not depicting the truth. As long as your kid follows all rules of school then you should be fine here. This school enabled many kids to get into prestigious universities and today many become doctors, scientist, engineers.

My son graduated in 2018. He is now attending law school. My daughter graduated in 2021 and is studying biology and plans to attend medical school.Both of them entered college as sophomores because of the AP credits they received at Reedy. I can't say enough great things about Reedy and how it prepared them for college!

Very good school. Academics are strong and the kids have a lot of choices for classes and various pathways. It is a very competitive environment though. That’s the only negative.

Students are having sex in the janitors closet and to my knowledge almost all students at this school are involved in some kind of drugs. The school is completely unorganized and the teachers don’t seem to be much help. I do not recommend this school to anyone.

School does not provide enough support or resources for academic success. Counselors often do not know what they are doing, and when someone comes in to seek ¨guidance" they are often turned away and have to fend for themselves. Teachers do not input grades into the gradebook until their very last deadline leading to lackluster academic performances. School has some great teachers who do a better job at guiding students than the counselors.

Great school with good diversity. Good competitive arts and athletic teams. Great Staff with solid experience. Good Coursework and classroom experience is excellent.

I had a friend who was dealing with depression and the counselors referenced him to a terrible therapist. This school's punishment system is terrible. A girl brought a bat to school and was trying to hit kids and all she got was an ISS. To make matters worse she escaped ISS.

If you are wanting a top notch orchestra program or looking at science, then this school is a good fit. Other then that, send your kids to another school if they want to learn.

The office staff at this school is highly neglective towards some of its teachers, and it is highly evident coming from a student stand point. How is the student environment supposed to be positive with "high character and leadership" when the office staff is so childish and petty. The front office is clearly cliquish and they do not practice what they preach. We often hear comments over the walkie-talkie's between the administration. I am highly disappointed in this school, and upset that I am put into this pitiful environment surrounded by so much negativity. You would think that at a high school where students are growing and developing... that you'd want the environment to be as positive as possible.

I've had the pleasure of having an amazing experience at Reedy high school I've been here since it opened and I feel like we are a diverse group with open minds. (For the most part) graduating this year as a senior I have such a deep appreciation for my class and wouldn't have wanted to graduate from anywhere else. Transitioning into Reedy, it was to my benefit that the zoning was really off and there was a lot of kids from Frisco and Wakeland getting to know each other as well so I didn't feel like such a "new kids". I hear people talk all the time on how much they hate Wakeland and Frisco and wish they were at Reedy. So proud to be a Lion.

Don't be fooled by the building. It is just that- a building. Inside is a hostile environment. The bullying is out of control. The admin doesn't really care about anything. They never engage with students and are rarely ever seen. The principal, Lecocq will be seen only on the first day. This place is a joke, so if you are looking to move to this area, I suggest Frisco High School or any other HS, avoid Reedy if you want a good High School education and experience for your student. Dr. Reedy and the community deserve so much better. Pretty sad.

This school is terrible,because it's super corny and lame! The pep rally's suck and they censor all activities. They want a public school to be a prep school. The environment is stuck up,especially with the female administrators.Also the school is not very diverse especially when it comes to the teachers,and the good teachers left due to the close minded environment. Reedy is very closed minded,they don't take ideas from teachers or students to improve the environment. Freedom of expression leads to detention. A FREE PUBLIC SCHOOL,BUT NO FREEDOM TO CHOOSE AT REEDY! #FreeReedy #PrayforReedy

Don't come I really mean it these teachers are terrible straight from college newbies if this school was the last school on earth I still would not go hopefully it changes but for now bye bye bye.

There is a systemic problem with the fact that this school is still "New". A lot of the teachers are right out of college and have NO CLUE how to teach or control the classroom. The kids are left to fend for themselves. When you talk to the new teachers you realize that they don't know anything and try to give you the standard BS. The only bright spot I've seen in the last two years is the Biology teacher who has a Masters degree and is the department head. The rest of these teachers have been pretty poor.
