My experience at OC has been a fun adventure, the community here? I would say that its safe, theres like no fights at here at all, or pretty much anything really bad. In my opinion it's a safe environment here, like I have never seen a kid be bullied here or anything. In the classrooms? I would say its really fun and exciting most of the time, though there is time you'll get a lot of homework, essays, I'm in 8th right now, and bout to graduate so I'm mostly describing my last year and stuff. But right now the school got a little stricter, and it has been helping us a lot. We been getting new teachers lately and they been helping all of us especially academically like most of the students in my class test scores (all classes) went up by like 5, 10 or 15% which is REALLY good. I would say the only really bad thing about OC is the food because the food is bad most of the time like it doesn't taste good and stuff but this may be the last year of bad food, because we're getting a kitchen next year, so hopefully the food would be better. There is electives here, sometimes there's sports elective and health and nutrition electives, computer science electives. But for the musicians I guarantee you there is always a music elective but probably not the music you want to play. For people who want to know if there's sports? Yes there is. OC has Baseball, softball, volleyball (boys), volleyball (girls), basketball (girls/boys), soccer (girls/boys) and flag footballThe staff here is like fun and good, Since OC is small we all interact with each other like a community so a lot times you'll see staffs playing with kids or interacting with them. Just Having fun.Overall I would say this school is a good school overall. OC is small so all of us just like become closer with one another and have fun while learning. The only bad part would be some teachers will like get you detention for like shooting the ball after the bell ring and coming in the school late, and the food, but lately we been getting good food so that might changed. For the people who say this school is bad for like no reason, Or they got detention for being late, they probably were just bad kids and they usually hate the school that they get in trouble in. Just listen or behave, just be mature, or like if you woke up late and stuff, that is your fault. It is your responsibility to wake up early and get to school early. Also OC does have field trips, summer school, and intersessions.

My kids have been attending Orange Center from pre-school up to second grade. Both of my kids seem very far behind academically and I am very disappointed. I would not recommend this school to any parent. The staff is at this school is great and good people but I do not believe that they do a good job of keeping our children up to par academically.
