This school was great the staff are super kind and most of the teachers are super helpful and respectful towards everyone. The sports played in Physical Education were awesome.

My son did great at this school. He was not a 4.0 student before he came to Computech. He received the principal's award for achieving 4.0 in 7th and 8th grade. They do get a lot of homework, but the key is allowing them time to do it. My son would finish his in the After School program. He is a gamer so he hated to take work home. The After School program run by Ilene Swift is a great place for kids to focus on their homework. She also has tutors (students from Fresno State) that assist students with their homework. I would pick him up about 5:15 p.m. after I got out of work. Edison High School is going to be the same way. He will participate in the After School Program. Get them into the habit of doing their homework before they go home. There are too many distractions at home.

The arts are excellent along with the technology. There does appear to be too much homework in science courses. There are many clubs, sports and activities offered at this school. The teachers support the students before school, during lunch and after school. The after school program is excellent.

My son has been a student at Computech for only a few short months and we think it's a wonderful school! It does require a lot of work. His teachers have been understanding and easy to talk to. They seem to care about their students learning. We have become a family that is extremely...TIGER PROUD!

Computech's staff has shown that it truly cares about each student finding their "fit" at the school. They offer 30+ clubs, with various opportunities daily and lunch and after school. In addition to a required technology course, all students also choose 2 elective courses from a wide selection. The school offers more opportunities for students than most area high schools, and expects all students give it their best. All courses are offered at gifted/talented level, and students learn valuable skills. Teachers are also available often outside of class time, and follow up on students when they're not doing well and go out of the way to provide help and support when needed. Computech is a school that pushes your talented student to reach their full potential.

We were not happy with Computech. The principal left early this fall and the school was left with an inexperienced vice principal. There was a lot of chaos and lack of leadership. Some of the classes seemed as though they were hard just to be hard, without the creativity in curriculum we had come to enjoy from Manchester. Just piling on the homework doesn't necessarily teach children, especially gifted children, anything. If I could make a choice again, I would not choose this school.

I am an eighth grader at Computech and the program there is great. Most people think that since Computech has only smart kids, and they have bad sports. This is wrong. This year in cross county we continued to keep holding first place out of all the teams. The cross country team went to LA and raced in the worlds biggest middle school cross country meet, Mount SAC, and placed second in eight grade boys, seventh grade boys and girls. We are not only champions in cross country but also in track, volleyball, baseball, football, soccer and water polo. Computech is also the very best in music. I'm in the advanced band for the second year at Computech and it is so much fun playing in parades and getting a 1 (the highest score) when being tested at Washington Union High School. I would recommend this school to everyone and I will 100% guarantee that if you attend this school you will love coming to school every day.
