Not a horrible school, but I can't say it was great. My son's teacher very obviously didn't like him very much, which is fine that isn't the problem. The problem is when you're a teacher it doesn't bode well to treat certain students differently than others just because they are from overseas. You don't have to be rude to that student or their parent. It wasn't an isolated incident either. Several staff members seem to buy in to the whole small town politics here in Frankston. I tried moving him to a different class for his and his teachers comfort but I was basically told that it was impossible when I know very well it wasn't. I didn't ask for an overnight transition but for possibly one after Christmas break about two weeks before Christmas break. It wouldn't have been impossible at all. But eh I'm just glad it's over now.

One of the worst school experiences I have ever experienced in my life even if it was indirectly through my children.

My kid Loves this school even with the bully issues. Much less than other areas I’m sure. Hopefully the new principal is better and makes serious change.

his Elementary School is terrible they called CPS couple of times just to get rid of my kids by making up stuff up cause they don't know how to handle kids that have disabilities and they don't even know what seizures are they treated my child like my kid was like in a P.O.W Camp and they got away with it and my kid has not even been the same since then and also they made fun of my kids disabilities and also they don't know nothing about food tolerances and they got a lack of knowledge they need the right teachers with the right education and there is so much going on up there what this school needs is a new Era that cares about there job and the kids they teach and they need to have people up there that knows what they are doing.

This school is a big disappointment for us. We'd heard good things, and were excited when we moved here that our boys would get a good education. Through 2 years of struggling with the teachers & principal, we've noticed a drastic change in both of our children's personalities. They've been fed nothing but negative feedback from their teachers, and have poor self esteem now when it comes to education - and they are only in 2nd & 4th grades! Especially the youngest! When we had a solution working (daily notes on behavior and homework) his grades greatly improved, as did his self esteem; but the teacher didn't acknowledge the achievements, and stopped the notes. Now his grades are dropping again. The best thing this school could to to improve is to loose the negativity - even if it means to replace the majority of the staff including the principal. Elementary school should not be like a boot camp with teachers yelling at the kids, yet the more we experience this school the more like a boot camp it seems. There is just too much negativity there, which is a good way to teach kids the "don't wanna" attitude. Unfortunately, limited options make it hard to find a positive solution.

My son absolutely loves this school, and I am proud to be able to take him there.

Frankston Elementary has great leadership and teachers that really care about their students. They go the extra mile to help a student succeed.
