My daughter has attended private faith based schools since pre -k. She has a mild learning disability with an IEP. As she entered highschool, this became somewhat of an issue as not all schools are equipped or able to serve those with IEPs even though they may claim to or want to. Bishop Luers is not only able to accept those students with IEPs, but also encourage and help foster students growth mentally, spiritually and emotionally. I cannot thank the school and staff enough for their positivity, acceptance, and welcomeness.

Great school. My son is a junior and he is new at Luers this year. He was a straight A student at his old school but never felt challenged. He never felt like he was really learning enough. He really wants to get into a good college, so we decided to look for a college prep school for him for this year. We looked at a number of different schools but none of them seemed right until we visited Bishop Luers. Everyone was so nice and very helpful. Both the students and staff were so friendly and welcoming. When we left after our visit, my son said that he thought Luers was the place. After only the first week of school, we now know that we made the right choice. In only one week, my son says he is learning so much. Even though he felt like he is maybe behind the other kids in his classes, his teachers have been very helpful. All he has to do is ask, and the teachers just offer to stay after school to help him with whatever he needs. What a great school. So glad we made the decision. If you are looking for a great school that will help your student prepare for college, you should look at Bishop Luers. We are sure glad we did!

Bishop Luers is a great school. There are so many opportunities. Not only do you get a great education, but you can also be on a great sports team or be in a music program or in a play. Students can go on educational trips. Every year there are trips offered to Spain, France, Japan, Haiti or some other interesting place. Teachers really care and go out of their way to help you learn as much as possible. I am truly grateful for my four years at Bishop Luers and I am leaving for college confident that I have the background I need to succeed at the next level.

Bishop Luers is a great school. We sent our children there for the academics and the Christian atmosphere. They have a very strong curriculum and many extra curricular activities. My children participated in Show Choir, sports and many of the clubs. Mrs. Keefer is the best principal and cares about every student at that school.

Hands down the best decision we made for our child. We transferred from Canterbury to Bishop Luers and never looked back. Parents, kids and administration are down to earth and always supporting your educational needs. I was completely turned off by Canterbury on our exit interview. They used every trick in the book and trashed Luers in the process. Talk about class acts. Overall, Luers has educated to every level and beyond compared to Canterbury. Wish we would have made the move sooner. Go Knights!!!

This is my child's 2nd yr here and he has not had any problems really and when he did they were addressed and taken care of, my child really likes it there and I like it too, even though we are not Catholic they treat us all the same and we have family members that are Alumni's of Luers and still relatives that attend there, I would recommend it to anyone and very glad I sent my youngest child here where I feel he is in a safe environment and getting a good education, my child struggles in certain areas & they have bent over backwards to help him and I am very grateful for them.

My two students were bullied horribly while they attended this school. The staff did little to help the situation, and transferring my children may have been one of the best parenting decisions of my life.

Luers is a pretty nice school to attend IF you can tolerate uniforms, and some strict rules. Mrs. Keefer is the best principal I have ever had, and the assistant principal is very involed with things as well. The tuition is steep(5000.00+) and some students can get away with things easily and the administration sometimes will not help you with it. They give friday and saturday schools frequently and although i have never got one they can be annoying when you get one for just being tardy. My freshmen year was OK at best.

Bishop Luers has provided me with a great education. I got into my first choice college and I have Luers to thank for that. The teachers are excellent and I have learned to much from them. Luers offers so many extra curricular activities from Sports to the Arts to Academic Super Bowl. I have had a fantastic time during my time at Luers and I will never forget everything Luers has done for me.

I believe that Bishop Luers offers the most comprehensive highschool program in the area. When considering academic excellence, along with arts, athletics, community, diversity, and those intangibles that the Luers community simply refer to as "Luers Spirit," we believe that Bishop Luers has the best program in the Fort Wayne area for educating the WHOLE person. We looked carefully at a number of local schools, both "private" and public and gave careful consideration to academics as well as those other factors that are critical to assisting children in becoming true "renaissance" individuals. Bishop Luers offers a complete selection of Honors, AP, and Dual Credit courses to provide academic challenges for students and have an indisputable tradition of excellence in the arts and in athletics as well. Luers provides the same welcome to all students and has an environment which creates a true "home" for students with diverse backgrounds and interests. We looked very hard for a school we felt we could trust our children to and we are thrilled that we could find a school like Bishop Luers. Our son is a freshman this year and could not be happier. He feels right at home.

My oldest child is a freshman at Luers this year making him the first of the third generation of Knights in our family! Bishop Luers seems to always grow and change and improve the curriculum without ever compromising the excellent tradition and values of previous generations! GREAT school, GREAT tradition, GREAT LUERS SPIRIT!!
