I hate this school. It’s literally so horrible and I’ve been here for so long and the walls are practically falling apart.

Terrible! I wish we could move so that my children wouldn't have to attend this school. I have three young children and regret taking them out of the Fairfax public school system.

My daughter attends PLES and will be entering 1st grade this year. I'm pleased with the school and the teachers/principal expectations for parent involvement. If you are a parent who would like to just have child taught by a teacher and you as the parent have no interesting in teaching your child this is not the school for you. My child's teacher helped to continue what have already as a parent instilled in my child that learning is the building blocks of FUN. This school in kindergarten required my child to have a 2min oral presentation and be involved in the spelling bee not for competition but enhancement in sight words and being able to verbalize her findings. So our past year experience with this schools has been pleasant.

This school is horrible. The teachers are unfriendly, unprofessional, disorganized and lack passion. Everything is outdated....from the staff to the building to the curriculum. They only care about MSA testing. If you are okay with your child having a cookie-cutter education that lacks individuality and creativity, then this school is for you. The school lacks technological resources and any qualified individual that could perform, let alone teach, the students about computers and software. This school is a real museum and could use a major facelift inside and out.

Potomac Landing Elementary School is great for instruction, parent teacher organization involvement, and a staff that demonstrates professionalism and care in every grade. My children both had IEPs and the special education program and leaders were exceptionally helpful. The Principal is a good delegates well, but he picks a hard working staff. I've sent 2 children there and have seen others that have come from private schools lacking the standards needed to succeed in this public school. Well done PLES family. Keep up the great work.

My son just completed his first year of kindergarten at this school and I have nothing but positive things to say about the school, teachers, PTSA, and administration. They were all easy to work with no matter what the situation and most importantly they took an interest in my child and his education. I absolutely loved the entire Kindergarten teaching staff and the methods they used getting the child and the parent involved in the children's education. I would definitely recommend this school and look forward to the upcoming year with two more kindergartens there and one in first grade.

My son came to Potomac Landing from a private school with a great foundation. He excelled at Potomac Landing. The foundation couldn't have been any better if he had started there. I could have a larger college fund had I done my homework sooner. No complaints.
