In General : Fort Lee Public Elementary School No. 2 stands out for its excellence in education, dedicated teaching staff, strong commitment to student safety, and active family engagement. A top choice for a well-rounded educational experience.We have a small bad experience with my son's teacher in kindergarten last year, as she was very tough and hasn't any patience of dealing with new comers students like my son. Also the Principle was not helpful and didn't support us regard this issue.

Both my children went to this school. Of course this is where we were zoned. Both had wonderful educations here-were there a few bumps along way sure but I always felt needs were addressed and that the staff had the best in mind for the kids. They have successfully transitioned into middle school. PTA is great as well. They have also added more afterschool activities.

The staffs and teachers had the best of their lives during pandemic working from home and they seem they still can't get over it. I'd never recommend to send your child to this schools. There's noone truly care for children here.

Their special needs school is really worst. They know that you are vulnerable and completely takes advantage of you and your child. They'd gang up and lie to cover up their negligence.

we like the school very much! teacher is caring. i don't understand why they rate this school lower than school one, when compare with other school parents, we found our teacher always care about our student, always give out different homework base on student level, try to make sure everyone can learn, not to bored the faster student, also help the slower one with extra help after school.

Kindergarten experience was wonderful; we had the best teacher possibly in the entire Fort Lee district. First grade was a disaster! The child was being bullied by another kid in class, teacher did nothing about it. Teacher openly favored girls over boys, which was alarming. She also screamed so loudly at the kids in her class that all other students (from adjacent classes) were petrified. This is 1st grade teacher we're talking about! We had to take our child out of this school a few weeks before school year ended because he was petrified, anxious and stressed out to the point that we needed to involve child psychologist. I wouldn't wish this school upon anyone! Go to School 1 or 4! Even School 3 is better these days...Do yourself and your kids a huge favor and stay away
