Pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend this school if you want your student to really learn. This school is great for young kids I guess, but you should consider if your kids who's at grade six and up should learn in same environment with kindergartners.

We had to move our child from a public school kindergarten. The program in this catholic school appeared more sophisticated. Teachers are loving and caring. The child said "I want to stay in this school forever", "teachers love children".

My daughter has been in school for 2 years and we absolutely LOVE the school. From the teachers to the principal and the staff, this school is run by an amazing group of people. In her 2 years at CTT, my daughter has learned so much. We are very happy with the academic rigor this school offers along with their acute focus on imparting good moral values to the kids. I recommend this school wholeheartedly to any parents who are looking for a caring and nurturing environment where the kids have a ton of fun learning.

I really regret putting my kid in this school. My 5 year old was reading 1st grade books even before starting Kindergarten at CTTS. The work here is too easy for her and they do not challenge her. They have no playground and let the kids play on the parking lot. My kid has gotten hurt with a scraped face and chipped tooth due to kids running into her.

Our family's experience has been good. I see my kids are generally happy and motivated to go to school and in my periodic visits during school events (music events, halloween, etc) there is level of positivity and optimism.

All the staff really cares about the children. They make sure academic and extra curricular resources are available to support children's healthy full development. Good programs delivered by very competitive and committed teachers - from preK to oldest grades, specially in Art, Spanish and sports. They listen both, kids and parents.

I am surprised by a comment below which says there is bullying in this school. Maybe they are taking about some other Christ The Teacher School because the best thing about this school is that there is zero tolerance for bullying.

The school has seriously gone down hill under the current administration. Don't waste your money. There are much better schools in the area that are comparable in price.

The Principal is down-right rude to some parents and shows favoritism to others. There is a serious issue with the morning drop-off that the Principal is seriously failing to control. I've had to wait behind parents that decide to park their car (in the driving lane) drop off their child and wait for them to come back and move their car, in order for me to drop off my child. There is also a bullying issue. My child came home on multiple occasions with bruises from one child in her class, and the teacher never told me about it. My child did. I'm pretty sure she never addressed it to the bully's parents.

The school year is coming to an end under a new administration, it has been a great year. The principal is warm and welcoming. She has made herself available to the faculty, students and parents. The students love C.T.T. under the new administration. So many new and exciting events took place this year. We had assemblies, new socials and most of all a focus on improving an already stellar curriculum. All I can say is what the kids say, CTT ROCKS!

I think the 1st year under our new principal has been great! So many positivechanges-MORE maintenance and beautification around property; MORE programs for the children, MORE fund-raising events like Bingo, Father/Daughter Dance and assemblies. MORE parent involvement. School is definitely heading in the right direction! We will miss 2 of our long-time middle-school teachers who are retiring after many years of dedicated service to CTT. Everyone who can should volunteer for something next year so they can see for themselves how hard the administration & faculty & HSA (parent-teacher assoc.) is working for ALL CTT children. CTT is a very diverse and inclusive school where everyone is welcome!

The school caters to a huge number of Koreans, weekly principle newsletter is translated in Korean. School lacks funding. Sidewalks and stairs are not shoveled in the pick up areas. No own playground or gym for the children, many children play on the parking lot during recess and after school. Clubs meet once a month but spaces are are very limited. Parents who work or volunteer at school play a huge role in school politics. School is very lax about children coming to school sick. School has changed a lot since Sister Rose resigned. Many teachers are not allowed to discipline children in ways that they used to. Rules are set by the students and the parents. Many parents are oblivious to their children's behaviors and will bail their children out when the teachers put them in detention. It is a very hard atmosphere to foster good morals and values and teach. A lot of the good old teachers have left or are leaving. Don't be surprised if the teacher you met during registration day changes on the first day of school.

I checked with the Principal about the Blue Ribbon part and she confirmed that they are working on it for sure. I am a mother of a 6 grader and academically this school is much ahead of most other schools.I am totally surprised with the last reviewer. You may want to compare and verify.Very impressed with the new principal.she is very receptive to new ideas.

We just joined this year and we are very happy with our decision to come to this school. The teachers are simply amazing, the office staff is great and very helpful. The new Principle is doing a great job. it s a loving environment. Our kids were in Montessori for a few years and we were worried about the transition but it has worked out very well.

This is just what a school should be and has done everything that a good school should do to my kids. This is not one of those fancy business centers like private school. It's run by the church and education is very important here.

We have three kids, the first one graduates Fordham U, this May and is going to Law School. A big part of her academic success is owed to the great foundation received at this school. Our second son is a sophomore is college and we currently have our third child in fifth grade. Highly recommend this school. Great education, safe environment and good values are taught here.

My child attends this school and I am very happy with this school. It provides a safe environment. The average class size is small thus, the children get a good amount of attention from their teachers. The teachers...I can't say enough good things about the teachers we have had so far. They are so wonderful ! Parent-teacher communication is maintained well.A very good amount a learning happens in this school.Their basketball team is great.I would highly recommend this school.
