The principal is running the school like a prison system, he is only interested in making sure no one dies, no drama happens. He doesn’t treat people with respect. We give him the false feeling that he has a lot of power, yes he does, but needs to within a certain set of universally accepted courtesy and norms.

This school is the best the teachers are nice I would absolutely recommend you could choose your own lunches and their safety and family engagement is at a whole different level.

School is safe, some staff members are great as well. Many changes needed. The children are in class all day with no recess time at all. During lunch instead of the children being able to socialize as there is no recess time they have them in assigned tables which is ridiculous, this is not a camp this is a public school where the children’s only time throughout the day to engage in socializing and they are prevented from doing so. The principal Mr. Diaz has a control issue. Another rule which is ridiculous is that backpacks are not allowed according to him they’re a hazard lol. Backpacks are made for kids to carry around. The rules that the principal has imposed are ridiculous. The school needs to go back to hands on learning as the children are on tablets all day.

Overall school is safe, the problem here is there is no recess time for the children there in doors all day. Also, the principal has incurred his own rules and regulations. This is a public school not a concentration camp or military school. Picking lunch tables for students when this is there only time for recess and socializing is unacceptable!!! This school needs a new principal with integrity, fairness, and accountability!!! He has a power trip…

(There is no page for each "separate" school, mainly about intermediate pavilion.) The problem with this school is mainly one thing, and that is control. In classrooms, it is calm, normal paced and has some great teachers. But when you go down (besides specials) It gets wild. In many cases there are out of control, + discipline doesn't seen to work (sadly). Many incidents I have gone over has been horribly handled, an tip, Calling someone's parents is not doing an difference, what happens if it never gets "snitched" Wild stuff happen here and most of the offenses never been taken. The supervision is failing. there is an need for structure.

Lewis F. Cole Middle School has amazing smart teachers and makes learning fun. Teachers in this school teach differently. The pre-algebra teacher creates her own videos and makes students to take notes and makes them learn the lesson at home. The teacher uses "flipped classroom." The language arts teachers also makes a review game called "jeopardy" where students have turns to answer. The technology in this school is also high and fast. The principal here is great and improves the school better with the vice principal also. Hence, the school is great.
