My son was enrolled in Coldwater from kindergarten through 4th school was great until we came back from covid with new principles. The assistant principal denied my son his inhaler causing him to have to go to the ER and miss several days of school. He was bullied all year long and was attacked by the same student several times. I did not feel my child was safe at this school so ultimately I made the decision to move out of the schools boundaries and put my child in a different district. The teachers were amazing but the principles were horrible! I recommend avoiding this school if at all possible.

I was a student at cold-water elementary school and i would 100% say do not send your children there. At the year 2016-2017 when i was in 2nd grade i was sexuality harassed by another student there. I had to go through this harassment for one whole year. I have told teachers about this whole thing and nothing was done. All i was told was to stay away from the student. I was in 2nd grade. This school doesn't care about your children at all. The teachers and principal all saw this yet nothing was done. I'm traumatized by this whole thing it's been 5 whole years and I can still remember every little detail about what happened.

The school is terrible. I would not recommend this school to no one. The people who suppose to be in charge don’t know how to run a school. They focus on things that don’t matter instead of teaching the curriculum. Hazelwood school district is like a public city school. The lunch they feed the kids is almost close to what they serve inmates in a penitentiary. I repeat this school is most definitely not the way to go. The kids is disrespectful a lot of bullying goes on and again people in the position there in do nothing at all.

Administrative team goes above and beyond to address students' needs not only socially, but academically. There is an open door policy with principal and ensures a fast turn around in getting appropriate answers to my questions/concerns. Since my child had been there, teachers and staff are very caring.

If I had to grade on past experience and the past two principals I would give this a great rating. Teachers as well, however based on the year of 2017 of school has gone downhill in a big way. Not on the teachers part, but on the part of their new principal Mr. Luke Dix. The teachers are great educators stuck with a principal who doesn't know how to communicate with the community about the problems of what are going on in the school this year. He's not a great communicator with parents and a lot of the parents concerns, complaints go unresolved and unaddressed. Sorry, but my rating reflects that in a big way. Unacceptable.

We like the individual care that teachers and administrators show our children. My children love to participate in Friday morning run club.

My daughter loved going to school. We moved from out of state and this was her first and only year at this school. She truly enjoyed school. Her teacher Mrs. Fischer was absolutely the BEST teacher I have ever experienced. My daughter had homework everyday except Friday and holidays. Although there were monthly assignments for her to work on. There weren't too many fundraisers. Maybe 1 every month or two. Overall we both enjoyed the school.
