I think this school is a great option for kids who thrive in an online learning environment. I do think that the kids would benefit from having more time with teachers and having a set schedule where they meet with specific teachers for each subject so that they have the opportunity to ask for help if they need it when they need it, rather than waiting for the meet times to come around and they end up forgetting to ask for help. In our case, our kids have fallen very behind without having the help available to them as needed and they do forget to ask for help when the opportunity comes to do so.

I am a sophomore and this is an amazing school that is run by amazing people! The education they provide is amazing and has helped me improve my academics. The teachers and administration are incredibly helpful and really work with students to get them on track and create plans if they are falling behind. Some notable mentions are Jodi Savage our fabulous 9th-12th grade ESS Teacher, Laryssa Dematos our marvelous 11th-grade Teacher, Diane Spoor our stunning 9th and 10th-grade teacher, Lisa Preecs our lovely Academic Counselor, Katie Bradeen our incredible Virtual Coordinator, and our wonderful Principal Jamie Lopez. Our Student Council also does a great job at raising school spirit and making everyone feel connected even tho we are apart. I also really love how the teachers do an amazing job at keeping the environments very positive and there are never any arguments or anything. Overall I feel honored to be at Florence Virtual Academy and to be a Charger! I highly recommend this school to anyone that loves a fun and positive environment!!.

I am a Freshman with Florence Virtual Academy and I absolutely love it! The program and teachers are AMAZING!! We have live meets every morning at 8 and I have full connection to my teacher(s). Since transferring here my grades went form average A's B's and occasional C's to straight A's. The program is not boring and has lots of different ways to learn from watching videos to participating in fun activities. I feel that program is extremely easy to follow and you are only required to do 5 hours a day. The program and teachers are super flexible... I train Brazilian jujitsu and compete all the time. This program makes it easy to keep up on my school schedule and at home life as well. The teachers are more than supportive, they are fun and easy to work with. Some of the work is really easy for the most part and I do not struggle trying to get into contact with any of the teachers. I love the amazing work ethics that the staff and administrators have. The environment of the app is super easy to locate and their are a lot of helpful tools in case you get lost. I absolutely love the program and plan to attend the program fro my remaining years to comeLET"S GO CHARGERS!!!

I attended this school for the first semester of my sophomore year. I found the curriculum to be extremely boring. My math and science teacher was extremely hard to get a hold of. I was only able to talk to him ONCE the whole semester. Most of the other teachers were helpful and understanding. For half of the semester my spanish teacher was not even aware of my enrollment in her class, so I was not assigned the correct amount of work, forcing me to do almost all of my spanish assignments in half of a semester.
