MY three sons attend Fishkill Elementary. There are many programs and activities to keep the kids busy and involved. The teachers are wonderful! They have a great character ed / PBIS program which teaches the kids to respect each other as well as a very supportive PTA that spoils them with assemblies, trick or treating and christmas caroling in town! But the kids love HUGS day the most!

I have two boys who went through Fishkill elementary.( I wish the school Would have gone to 6th grade. ) the teachers, principal and support Staff create a family feel to the school. At the end of the year they Have hugs day and alumni of if all age groups beg to attend. Due to safety and The huge number of people wanting to attend, this becomes impossible. However, what a great idea. Fishkill alumni hugs day! I digress, I would recommend Fishkill elementary to anyone moving to the area.

Wow. Sounds like Fish elementry school is where it is at. I never went to this school when I was living in Fishkill, N.Y., I went to Brinkerhoff. I wish I did, go to this school back in the 1960s. How ever I heard back then Fishkill elementry scholl was good. Drive on Fishkill school. Drive on. i only wish I can say the same for Brinkerhoff. And what is interesting is Brinkerhoff is still the same. Sounds like a lot politics. Always was since they opened up in 1963. Sorry to for them. But Fishkill elementry, I wish i went to your school back in the day.

When you or your child goes to Fishkill you automatically become part of a wonderful, loving family. What a great way to start your educational career! We get a private school for a public school price.

My children get upset when their last day before summer vacation arrives. This never ceases to amaze me, they are not only getting a great education, but they are having fun and they are fostering true frienships that I know will last them a lifetime. The teachers and staff are truly amazing and we fell blessed that are children are receiving such a wonderful education!!!!

The teachers are caring and truly want their students to succeed. Even though it is a structured learning environment the kids are having fun and enjoy going to school everyday.

Fishkill Elementary School is committed to its student population and excels at parent involvement... you cannot help but feel the energy when you walk through the front doors - teachers, staff, parents and students working together!

I am a grandma of two of the students. I also volunteer at the school, even tho' I live 1/2 hour away. The students, the teachers and the staff are the nicest, and most of all dedicated and caring. The atmosphere when you walk down the halls makes me want to go back to school. The hallways are filled with displays of work the kids did. And the pride to be a student at Fishkill Elementary School is felt everywhere you go.

My son David started Fishkill Elementary in1999, when we moved to NY from Philadelphia. David started kindergarten and at this time he is in 10th grade. When he looks back at his years at Fishkill Elementary he truly has wonderful childhood memories. I credit his years at Fishkill Elementary for his confidence and academic success..At the present time our daughter Jenna has started kindergarten at Fishkill Elementary and it is great to know that she will be able to experience wonderful childhood memories like her brother did when he attended. The staff and the PTA make the children feel important and everyone walks around with a smile.
