My son struggled his first year at the intermediate school but the teachers and administration were patient and he is now thriving.

Just so-so. Academically bare bones and not even as good as schools in other close suburbs.

My child has recently attended Riverside. The ratings are pretty accurate. Like many suburbs, this one is more affluent than the average, so the students are motivated, which is reflected in high test scores that account for most of the rating of 8 out of 10. But as the student growth rating shows, the school provides a mediocre education. Parents don t seem to mind, though.

Two of my kids went to this school and I have been absolutely thrilled with the experiences that they had, their teachers and the facility in general. In addition, I've had a few of the children that I foster attend this school and the office staff and teachers are so kind and supportive of these children's special circumstances.

I am a student at Riverside Intermediate. I enjoy the school greatly. Just some things to know if you do plan on moving to the Riverside Intermediate area is that you do have to run the mile often. So other than the mile I've enjoyed my year at Riverside Intermediate and I enjoyed the great teachers.
