It has been an excellent experience gir me any my son. Teacher are kind but focused on actually educating the kids. A bullying issue that my child experienced was taken seriously and delt with in a way that was appropriate. The school is clean, safe, organized and inviting for kids. From the bus driver, front desk, nurse and administrators; we have had pleasant interactions and we are happy that our son is attending New Britton.

Our top priority when my husband and I looked for a home was schools, and we were deceived by the HSE school district. We enrolled our son in New Britton Elementary School. We were looking for a great education, educators, and environment for our children. Unfortunately, we did not find any of those qualities in New Britton Elementary. We had issues with this school even before COVID hit, so this has nothing to do with COVID. My son's first-grade teacher was not an educator, it was an 8-3 clerical job to her. In addition to her academic ineffectiveness in the classroom, just a few examples of her lack of competencies, she let kids go out for a fire drill in the freezing cold without their jackets. Her lack of awareness of harassment and bullying in the classroom caused snowballing effects during the year. He did have a very select few good teachers at the school, but their hands were tied, they had to do the best they could in the circumstances they were in. In addition, ensure that your children are not questioned by the school counselor without your presence. (a school policy is not LAW).If you have children enrolled in HSE and you run into an issue with them you really have two options: 1- Keep your mouth shut, hand over your kid because if you complain to the district they will cover it up. There is no such thing as parent advocates in the district. 2- Pull your kids out. Management was incompetent before COVID, when COVID hit everything got a lot worse!

Wonderful experience. A truly neighborhood school and very diverse compared to the rest of Fishers. The teachers here care so much about the students and there isn’t much turnover. The staff really seem to love working here. I am grateful we live within this schools boundaries.

The teachers are incredible. There are many extra curricular activities for the kids to get involved with. We couldn’t be happier.
