    I am very disappointed in the experience our boys have had at Jefferson. There’s a total lack of compassion and understanding on more than one occasion from the principal and the secretary. There definitely needs to be more mental health/ grieving education.

    Jefferson school is AMAZING! My daughter is now in 1st grade and we couldn't be happier. I know all the teachers are great, however I would like to give praise to her Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Drerup. My daughter absolutly adored her and learned so much. She was excited to go to school every day due to Mrs. Drerups engaging teaching style. My daughter is already really enjoying her new teacher Mrs. Recker! All teachers I pass always have a smile on their face. The school is very clean and they have a great security system which requires every outside person to be "buzzed" in the locked doors during school hours for added peace of mind (I don't know a parent who wouldn't appreciate that even though the school is already in a great area). We even decided not to move into a house we were looking at because it was going to be outside the Jefferson school district. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
