The teachers at this school are so dedicated. They work beyond the school day to ensure parents are well-informed. I have gotten several emails after 6:00/7:00 at night with pictures of my child’s day, updates on particular situations, or information on upcoming school events. Any time I’ve reached out to his teacher, I receive a call back within hours sometimes minutes. The teachers go above and beyond to make sure my child has everything needed to be successful. I couldn’t be happier with the level of education my son has received. Uthoff Valley is such a welcoming, loving place.

This is literally my sons first day of school and already overwhelmed with unprofessionalism. No one has been communicating with me about anything going on. I had no clue about the system from drop off. The school will not allow me in and my son had to have lunch money and medications dropped off. The teacher at the drop off said it was fine and they would take my son straight to the principals. I almost immediately got a phone call from the school nurse who reprimanded me for sending my son with the medications. I explained to her that no one assisted me in this process and had no choice. I have not received any communication from his new teacher or anything to know what he needed to bring, to set up his lunch account, school bus updates, procedures, welcome anything. I tried to get ahold of staff several times and each encounter I am receiving very poor communications and attitudes. The teacher literally refused to speak to me. I will have to escalate to the highest authority if this continues.

Our experience at Uthoff Valley has been amazing. I cannot say enough about how caring and effective the teachers are. The kids are all very nice to one another, and the school has been recognized as a school of character, which means just as much as academics. With the help of the great parents, the teachers and staff are teaching these kids how to be good people.
