First day of school they made a typo on the bus schedule. The scheduled bus was 771 when the bus that picked us up was 770. The last few minutes of school the announcement said the bus was changed to bus #211 but when we got on the bus driver said it was for bus 751 not 771. The teachers lied and said it pulled of when we was on the sidewalk but not of the buses said 770 and they was then ones that said it was changed to 211. The school is horrible and nothing good comes up with it.

The culture and atmosphere in this school is among the worst in the nation. As a former student who had to move often due to military parents I attended 7 total schools growing up I have seen great, good, and bad. This was the worst of the 7 of which 3 were high schools. PFHS looks and feels like a prison. The environment within the school only further supports this. It is why to the students it is often referred to as Pine-fortress Petitionary. If you are able to avoid this school for your children they will never know the depths you have gone to protect them.

It’s a good school, but when it comes to bullying the principles aren’t that effective as they should be

My review is based on my daughter. She started at the school her freshman year and Graduated with honors 2017. We really liked the school and the guidance counselors seemed to really help the kids with college readiness.

Ok.. While the general staff here at PF are pretty nice and suitable for what they do, the environment itself in the school is just quite sad. I don't know whether it's the teachers or the students not being disciplined or having stressful times going to this school and personal issues, but the school is not great. It sure is functional, and you can go and say that many successful people will have graduated from here, but, I don't see how you can do that in this environment that there is. (Unless if you're special, had little to no stress and anxiety out of school, or were just really good at working hard) I am NOT comfortable going to this school. "School". Another thing.. I feel like in this day n' age, schools have become more of a hinderence than a stepping stool. I feel as time goes on, and the more that technology and minds advance, we won't need schools. Well at least not the kind of school system we have now. I've learned things that I learned from technology, experiences, and living, than I have from school. One thing that I know most students can relate to, is that we have all become depression-anxiety-ridden.

Very pleased with school and administration. Pine Forest really cares about the students. Both of my children are happy and have thrived here.

I have two sons at PFHS, the school has a real feel of community. David Culbreth is an excellent administrator and takes time to get to know his students. His door is always open to his students and staff. You will be hard pressed to find a better school and better principal in Cumberland County.

My review will be based from my daughter who graduated in 2013. It's long overdue but I would like to commend the school's counselors. Most especially to Ms Janet Turner who had been patient with my daughter throughout the college process. My eldest Is now doing her best at one of the best public universities In the U.S.A. At present, Ms Turner is still patiently working on with my youngest daughter's concerns. As parents, we truly appreciate the effort and guidance. Looking forward to another fruitful student-teacher-counselor relationships. More power to the administration.

My daughter been at PFHS for four years and now a senior. I give ms Jane field a 10 on turning pine forest high around. I have nothing but good things to say about th school. If i had another child I would send them to PFSH also. If you are a parent you have to do your part with the teacher. thing starts at home first because I am a old school parent. stop doing things in front of your kids and be a parent. If you don't have anything to say good don't say anything at all especially if you are not doing your part

This is my third year at Pine Forest High School and so far I am pleased with my experience. There are many great extra curricular activities such as SGA, DECA, Trojan Terror and Trojan Mentors. They offer a good variety of AP classes and have teachers who truly want to see kids enjoy class and grow. Of course there are some areas that could use some improving, but overall I would say that PFHS has given me the knowledge to succeed in my later years.

This school has a very on the ball Principal "Jane Fields", she has a brilliant vision on how to fix whats not working for the school and she enhances was is working for the school she has a zero tolerance of foolishness but deals with it head on if and when it arises she has a understanding staff that knows when they get out of line she will be very professional in her discipline. The school has a awesome come up with their academics Biology,Math, English teams meet with her to find better challenges on how the students can just continously maintain excellence you may can't get the all but the press hard for excellence PFHS you have my 5 stars.
