Nice school...I like the size because it has allowed students to take advantage of any opportunities they are interested in while still having a caring community of staff. Most staff know the names of every single student. It's a small school with big city amenities.

My grandsons are having wonderful, successful tenures at Baker. Both of them score in the highest ranking category compared to all students nationally, and they both are having diverse and challenging educational experiences. Teachers give above and beyond, with abundant extra-curricular activities. Orchestra, band, athletics, National Junior Honor Society and numerous clubs provide enrichment opportunities for students. Project-based learning is used frequently.

If you enroll your child at this school, expect daily fights, uncaring staff, and low-quality education. The faculty does not handle misbehavior well, and forbid that you miss one day of class! Academics are poor, proven by the fact that some students cannot even point out Ohio on a map. The Board of Education would rather spend their money on automatic soap dispensers than on the under-funded art and music programs. The building itself is filthy- notorious for its many pests and falling-apart hallways. Organization doesn't even exist in this district. If you are planning on moving, please look into a different school in the area.

I cannot fathom the poor quality of this school. There are bloody fights almost daily. The teachers barely know what they're talking about. The faculty- including principals flat out lie to parents and students. There is no discipline. Save your time and do not enroll your child at Fairborn.
