I would rate our experience with ECS at the highest level you could rate a school. We have zero complaints with ECS. We love all the faculty and staff because we believe what the mission is and we see them put it into action on a daily basis. We highly recommend ECS to everyone. It is the best school in our area.

My daughter has attended ECS for the last 3 years and has grown incredibly. Her teachers have helped her overcome her insecurities in the classroom and have given her the confidence to go outside her comfort zone and challenge herself socially and academically. The leadership is excellent with communication and keeping parents involved. Developing the kids to be disciples of Jesus Christ is the mission, but at the same time, they develop incredibly academically advanced students.

We have two children attending ECS, kindergarten and preschool. We have been thrilled with the level of attention and challenge our children receive to help them thrive in these critical years. We are grateful for the small staff that feel like a coordinated family, who share core values. As Mrs. Buck, Ms. Twellman, and Mrs. Callahan have partnered with our family in education and growth for our precious kids, we have been blessed by their presence in our lives and would recommend others to them.

Eugene Christian is an excellent choice and has been crucial in the growth and development my daughter has experienced. She is excited and proud of her accomplishments at the end of the day. This is a positive environment with caring teachers and staff, allowing kids to thrive.

I am so blessed to know that my daughter is in a faith-based environment each day. She is challenged by her teachers and supported by the entire staff as well as her peers. The level of education she receives is exactly what I want for her. ECS does not just teach children but they help shape them to become wonderful people who will pay it forward in our world. I am so very thankful for ECS!

We have had a great experience at ECS. Our experience is based solely on the two years of preschool with Ms. Twellman, but we have enjoyed it. She is an engaging, energetic, thoughtful teacher who really connects with the kids and makes learning fun. Our son has grown so much, both academically and socially, and we owe much of that to the preK class and her and Mrs. DePaepe's leadership in that class. We highly recommend the 5 day prek 4 option - it is a great way for your child to dive deeper into the material and we have seen much growth from that extra focus and smaller class size. The front office staff - especially Ashlea - is incredibly welcoming and friendly. Despite the fact that we are a "new" family and in general, we don't interact with the admin as much at the preschool level, they know me by name and are always greeting me. It's a great educational environment and we highly recommend it!

We are in our 5th year at ECS and could not be happier! From the faculty, staff, principle, curriculum, leadership and faith centered values we simply can't think of a better environment for our boys.

Overall the experience has been fantastic. Our son had trouble focusing in the public school system due to the lack of control the staff had over students behavior, we moved him to this school in the middle of 3rd grade and have been very pleased with the results. The following school year we also moved our daughter here and they have both thrived, making great friends while learning how to put God first in today's world.

My experience at ECS has been excellent. The teachers and leadership are dedicated and truly get to know the needs of each student. They offer music, PE, art, spanish, lego engineering, newspaper, bible classes and a variety of other resources. They encourage leadership by assigning “salt shakers” (middle school students) to be salt and light to the younger students, which my daughter loves. ECS is a blessing to our community!

ECS has been a great fit for our boys. The staff is very friendly and teachers are extremely skilled in the classroom. Our children feel valued and loved and they love going to school. We appreciate that the school I'd not just "Christian" in name but actually cares about developing Christ-like character.

ECS has been great for our kids. The leadership and individual teachers make learning gun. Classes are smaller than public making more teacher and question time per student. Middle schoolers are given 2-3 younger students to checking with and do activities with. Both kids really enjoy that opportunity. WE CELEBRATE CHRISTMAS!!!!!

Eugene Christian School has our highest recommendation. We have a long history of experience with Christian schools, and ECS stands out. The school has done nothing but good in the life of our first-grader, who has thrived since joining at the beginning of the year. ECS fosters his love for learning and for Jesus by never separating the two. The school’s approach to education sees students as part of God’s people who are in relationship with one another and the world around them. They grow to know this world better and in proper perspective through ECS’s emphasis on “developing Kingdom leaders.” Rather than an introverted, fear-based approach to educating Christian children, ECS introduces them to the good creation as God made it. At the same time, academically and otherwise, the school teaches children wisdom and discernment within the safety of classrooms where they work together with the help of truly dedicated teachers who love their jobs. For as long as our family lives in Eugene, we plan for all of our children to attend ECS.

We have been with ECS (an ACSI Accredited School) for 8 years. We wouldn't want to be at anywhere else. There have been many positive updates in the last three years: New technology, new gym floor, some new staff (and many long-time favorites are still here). The leadership staff at ECS has really breathed new life, purpose, and direction into the school. Our daughter is a Middle School student now, and continues to thrive here. In Middle School ECS is equipping students to be Kingdom Leaders. One program pairs Elementary students with Middle School students. They meet at certain times through the month. The youngers have older kids to look up to, and the olders can be role-models to the youngers. There are other leadership opportunities as well: Blessings & Service, Yearbook, and more. There is a good selection of Electives to choose from each term. The Teachers and Academics are outstanding! History & English work together and form Humanities. Math & Science are teamed up as well. History class is a favorite for our student! We have 2 1/2 years left at ECS. We hope ECS will offer accredited High School by the time our daughter graduates 8th grade! We love it here!

Overall we are very pleased with our experience at ECS. My kids both frequently comment on how much they love ECS. They both say that learning at ECS is fun compared to their previous experience in the public school setting.

We have 3 children at Eugene Christian school, preschool and elementary aged children, and are so happy to be a part of this community. Our kids enjoy their classrooms and are learning so much. The small class sizes and teachers aids offer lots of chances for individual attention to students. The parents and staff are all really invested in the lives of the students and we feel blessed to be a part of if. I highly recommend ECS to any Eugene area parent looking for a caring, loving environment for your child to learn and grow in.
