This school was absolutely trash NEVER under any circumstances send your kiddo here. I was ganged up on bullied and the staff did nothing all they did was suspended me over and over. They lied to my parents about what kinda stuff happened and treated me like an abuser not a victim. Never ever would send another soul through what I endured.

If you aren't white you're literally treated like trash. I had one of the worst experiences here, I recently graduated. I got called an ethnic by my own teacher and she actively marked us down on purpose. There was multiple threats against kids of color. I had a teacher say the n word with no context and it was horrible. I had kids on the daily ask me if I ate dogs or cats or went "ching chong bing bong" Kids made active rape and death threats and didn't care. Almost all white kids got away with racism.

This school is truly terrible. I am currently enrolled in seventh grade at Cal Young, and every day is a nightmare. Many of the teachers don't care at all for the students. My personal favorite teachers though, are Barb MacWilliam, Scott Baker, Tom Cantwell, and Tim Bjornstad. The kids here are cruel, unintelligent, and have no ambition. The new principal I TERRIBLE. She will often walk into classes unannounced, and interrupt for 20+ minutes. Please, please, please don't send your child to Cal Young.
