My children have been to a lot of schools all over the country because of my husbands line of work. Danebo School has been very good for my children. The teachers, office ladies, the Principal and all the staff are very loving and helpful and they truly make the students feel special and important. I love this school. It's older and smaller and the class sizes are smaller than most in the area. The teacher are excellent! Parent volunteers are welcomed and appreciated.

Danebo is an amazing school!! The teachers and staff are terrific!! Mrs. Railey is a wonderful kindergarten teacher along with help from the amazing Mrs. Baker!!! Ms. McNamara made my son feel so cared about it first grade. Now starting second grade Mr. Peck seems like a very personable guy!! My boys just love Danebo :)

Our experience at Danebo Elementary School has been outstanding! Originally, we had tried to get our children (1st and 3rd grade) into Prairie Mountain school, but were not successful due to their already full classes. Had we gotten in, we would have missed the gem that is Danebo. The staff (office, classroom, library, lunchroom and janitorial) is incredible - so caring and friendly. Do not let the age or location of the school dissuade you from attending. As parents, jump in and become an active part of the PTO, and volunteer when and where you can. Your participation will add so much to your experience as a parent, and it will help your children to feel an added connection to the school. Things we've loved about Danebo: Principal Mari Ford and staff, small school community (you feel like family there), Oregon Battle of the Books (OBOB), VIP Assemblies (virtue recognition), and the strong emphasis on reading and math. We are moving out of the area this summer, and are so sad that we have to leave Danebo School. Our family has grown so much here. We feel blessed to have been a part of this wonderful school community, and do not hesitate to recommend it to others.

My child is in kindergarten and although everyone is nice and it is very academic based I feel that my child is more of a number to staff and administration. It is a very superficial atmosphere where my child does not feel happy or valued. It's a very unfortunate way to start an education.
