EHS is a pretty school overall top academics and athletics there are just somethings that could be changed just for it to be a well rounded school. One of those things is really digging deep into how the teachers teach because some teachers truly don't give a care in the world about their students and then there are teachers that care a lot and as students we appreciate the teachers that care and take time to listen and understand the constant stress that is put on us about keeping up with our grades so we can have a good future and with the kind of world that is coming about us all around social media puts so much added stress to us and those teachers who don't care don't help at all and this is coming from a 9th grader that was struggling all year because the transition from middle school to high school is a big change and I thank God for all my teachers but my math teacher was the only one that was not helping her rules and standards were set so high for only freshman. This school is great it just appears that it isn't because of some of the teachers that show no care in the world about us and that is what causes most students to act out and rebel because we feel as if we aren't getting heard or acknowledged as if our opinion or feelings don't matter and we are slowly just loosing focus on our goals which is disappointing because some students I saw this year have so much talent and potential to be something great but just loose sight of what they want for themselves. Personally I love my school and will continue to support and encourage students that go hear. I am so proud to call myself and Etiwanda Eagle and am very excited to see how our school grows.

EHS has been a wonderful experience as a parent of 1 graduate and 1 current junior. The school pride and learning opportunities are great! My responses to questions or concerns have been addressed promptly and respectfully.

My daughter went to Etiwanda HS. All 4 years. This is the BEST school in the district. My daughter took AP and honor classes. She is now in her 3rd year of college. After graduating from HS, She received offers from 9 colleges for her to attend school there. She has a full ride at her college and is doing well there thanks to the amazing teaching of Etiwanda High. I am proud of the school and my daughter….

Everything it’s good… except… the worst experience in the baseball team!!!… If your son does not belong to their travel team, they will not let him play in the team, even if they have accepted him into the team... they have a lot of favoritism.. that’s sucks!! my son fell into depression For that!! Really sucks!!!

My son had a wonderful freshman year at EHS (2021-22). He Made a lot of new friends, has lifetime memories with them and constantly talks about how great his friends are. I love the culture, the teachers are super nice and supportive, the administration is top tier so many good things to say that I can go on and on about. Etiwanda High is definitely a 5 star school.

A proud mother of a 2022 graduate of Etiwanda High, she had all the academic support in all achievements during the pandemic. I always felt at peace with how safe the school is with the custodians and security around. It was pleasant and satisfactory during the four that she attended. Thanks to all the teachers especially Mr. Bragg and Mrs Lennon.

All three of my kids graduated from Etiwanda HS and all three were college ready. So far, 2 of 3 have graduated from college and the 3rd is currently a college student. Great HS, very diverse and inclusive. Principal is awesome and engaged with students. Expectations for all students is high and we appreciated that. Teachers consistently pushed our kids to excel in academics. School is very strict, which is necessary for such a large school. This, in turn, created a safe environment. All three of my kids played sports at Etiwanda and had great experiences. EHS sports teams overall are consistently very successful. Wonderful community support among parents in EHS neighborhoods.

The fall 2018 will be my son's second year here at EHS and he will be a sophomore. He takes honors courses and is heavily involved in the school's band program. I'm also a member of the Band Booster Board and my husband and I volunteer our time and strive to build relationships with other students, their parents, and the instructors here at EHS. Our experiences so far with the students have been positive. They have been kind and courteous.

As an Etiwanda alumnus and soon-to-be college graduate, I cannot say enough good things about this school. The teachers here are amazing and come from some of the best universities in the nation (Harvey Mudd, UCLA, Davis, etc.). The staff and teachers are very approachable and have a bond with students that exists only at Etiwanda. What really makes this school unique is its diverse, high-achieving student body. An Etiwanda education is truly the complete package. If you are hesitant to send your student here because our demographic seems "scary" to you, then please send your student to the concrete high school down the street-- we don't want you here.

-a student For me, Etiwanda was a great thing. I actually felt pride in my school. Even if the administration (old and new) were a bit off their rockers, the student body was great and full of supportive and diverse people, where everyone could find friends, and the teachers are some on the best and most caring I have ever met. The school has a great academic program in general, our AP program is outstanding and helped me pass all my AP tests, we have excellent science programs and foreign language programs, we have a very good drama program, choir program, band program, and the students really appreciate the arts at Etiwanda and are passionate. You will not find this greatness at any other school in So Cal. Trust me, I've seen a few. Shout out to Mrs. Arora, Ms. Min, Mr. Schaina, and Madame Brusselle!!#onlyattheE

This is a very good school. The community has grown so much over the past 30 years. The kids need to work hard and study to get to the next level. The athletic program has become stronger playing in one of the best leagues, the Baseline League.

I'm a Senior at Etiwanda High School and have been attending since the ninth grade. To be honest, I cannot imagine myself at any other school. It's not just the academics, but the atmosphere as a whole. Etiwanda is just a naturally inviting place to be. In all my four years, I have never felt victimized or put down by anyone from the school body. Everybody is friendly and nice, and those who can't find it in themselves to tolerate other human beings, fade into the background. Of course, every place has its handful of hotheads that feel the need to strike out when they can't seem to get a point across, but this can be said for anywhere. I agree with the accusation of some, though, that there are a few incompetent teachers, but in a way, I've learned to appreciate their incompetence. In some rare instances I had to take education into my own hands and self teach myself and find outside resources in order to succeed, but if you think about it, isn't that how real life is? Not everything is going to be handed to us on a silver platter . With the exception of those few rotten tomatoes, the teacher staff is really great and I can safely say that I've learned a lot. Overall: A

Etiwanda is an excellent HS. My oldest son graduated in 2012 and my middle son is a freshman. I have seen so many outstanding teachers and I believe my kids are getting an excellent education, for a public HS. Etiwanda prepares interested students for college and the the strong state testing scores support the quality of this school. The only negative is the school is old and outdated, but with the bond measure that passed in Nov 2011, that will provide new and improved facilities. If I had to enroll my kids again, I would! P.S. the boys and girls basketball teams are among the best in CA!

Even though this school has an 8 on the API, I feel it credited to the students. My daughter has some of the worst non caring teachers and counselor ever! She came from a very caring school with the same API to a non caring school. Even their lunch staff is the worst. expired food, no you can't have that food. It is true about the counselor- My daughters counselor gets mad when I come in and tells my daughter she needs to handle it herself. He intimates her. Im thinking twice about letting my 3 other children go there if things do not improve!

Etiwanda High is not perfect; NO school is - but, they have some great teachers, a few good counselors and one or 2 good administrators. Unfortunately, a couple of men at "the top" do not seem to adhere to high moral standards. API (scores ONLY) and athletics seem to be their priorities and we've noticed morale is very low at the school, which is a shame considering there are so many GOOD staff members there and pretty awesome students.

All three of my sons attended EHS throughout the course of ten years. My youngest son is a senior and I have to say it has been painful seeing a school go from great to poor. The school is suffering from a lack of quality students and parents. The administration and faculty are not at fault, the socioeconomic conditions and demographics in the area have changed and the school reflects that. EHS has gone from clean and wholesome to rundown and urban.
