I've had to deal with a situation where I was at a field trip to a theme park, & these kids kept on trying to cut in front of us in line, was pushing us, called us terrible names that a kid at that age should not be saying, & overall, very bad vibe. Tried to contact the principal on the situation, & she did absolutely nothing, the crazy part is the fact that we were in Elementary school at the time, so in conclusion, don't take your child here, students will bully you, considering they bullied people from an entirely different school, & principals will not care.

The worst school for keeping your children out of trouble and bullying.

It is saddening to see all the negative reviews about EIS on here. Let me be one, who writes the review based on her child's opinion. My daughter is in GATE and Band. AND SHE LOVES EIS!!! To all the loving and caring teachers and administrators at EIS, please keep up the good work. Thank you for all you do!

this school‘s always talking about “stop bullying”“anti- bully” but when a child is being bullied they don’t care. I’ve been bullied and harassed multiple times at this school and they made it unnoticed.

I am extremely disappointed in this school. not only has the rating dropped from a 9 to a 7 in the span of 6 months, but the bullying and overall environment here are also intolerable. even the staff takes part in emotionally traumatizing students. Fights go on on an everyday basis. The buildings are very old and crusty. this school has emotionally traumatized AT LEAST 80% of the kids here. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Great school, well communication with teachers, underserved students at this school are performing far better than other students in the state

This school is very bad and lots of profanity is used in the classroom and hallways. Students here are rude and constantly gossip about other students. (There are some nice and respectful students though) Everyday when I have to go here I feel like I am going to prison it is terrible. The students also constantly cheat assignments by sending it to other classmates or copying and pasting work.

Teachers and administration was responsive to email and phone calls. My students didn't experience bullying and when a friend was being verbally harassed by other students my kid stepped up, reminded the other students about Rachel's Challenge and the harrassment stopped.

Horrible lots of bullies and school does nothing. Tons of Profanity and dirty talk do not recommend. I would rather go to Juvie then be there.

This school does not deal with bullying like they claim. She will be home schooled the rest of the year. For 8th grade, we will enroll her in another public, charter or private school. We're very disappointed and frustrated with "the oh well kids at this age" attitude. I guess Etiwanda's principal is not aware of all the harm bullying causes. All you have to do is watch the news. SAD very sad.

This school offers a lot for students. The administration offers after school programs for struggling students, sports programs, and really cool classes for GATE students. I heard that this is the first school in the district to receive its AVID accreditation which is great since many high schools utilize this program. I do wish the school was updated a bit since it is so old, but I'm happy with the education and extra curriculars offered.

This school has given my son a wry positive experience in these important middle school years. The teachers have prepared him and given him more confidence as he heads to high school. I am very pleased with Etiwanda Intermediate's programs and support from staff.

Most of all of the teachers are very kind, and are intelligent. My child says that she sees her teachers doing their best everyday to help them (students) succeed. The school actually has many after school and before school classes and activities such as basketball, associated student body (ASB), anatomy class, gateway classes, science olympiad, flag football, junior upcoming medical professionals (JUMP), and after school library.

This is my daughters 3rd year attending EIS, and I am very pleased with the teachers and the office staff. My daughter has been challenged academically and I like that the teachers make themselves available for myself and my daughter for any concerns we may have. Thank you!

My husband & I bought our home due to the excellent rating in etiwanda school district. We have 5 kids, high schoolers through elementary. EIS has had its ups & downs just like any other school. I'm involved in volunteering & i have not yet to see any drugs issues in the 4 years my kids have been attending. As for the dress codes, the staff stands by their rules. I have been able to meet with all the staff & teachers when i needed to. Besides the new rule of not being able to have lunch with your child, except for in the office, everything else is GREAT! (The lunch rule is to protect our children from those couple parents who can't grow up. Therefor i agree with the new rules if this means my children safety is even better.)
