I'm really shocked that Memorial is only rated 5/10. Both my kids attended and loved their teachers. it's a very small, tight knit, family town so it's common to see the teachers at the grocery store or when you are out and about, and the staff seems to know every kid and parent. The school really becomes like our extended family and forms a partnership for success. You don't get that kind of attention and care with a larger school. There is constant communication from the Principal each week and the teachers on an almost daily basis through email and apps like Remind. Parent/Student conferences twice a year, a gifted "Explorers" program for those who are identified as working above grade level, and the school was recently remodeled, adding a new wing, new library/media center and new multi-purpose gym. After school, the kids all want to stay and play on the fields with their friends before going home. The hill at Memorial is also our local "sledding hill" when we get snow days, the whole town will be there. There is also a yearly art show, grandparents day, and fun celebrations like the 100 day of school. Both my kids are extremely well prepared in reading, writing and math skills thanks to the caring teachers at Memorial. I'm a teacher and in my opinion this school should be rated more along the lines of a 7 or 8 out of 10.

Excellent school system. Well experienced teachers and an able Principal. The school has a full day Kindergarten and Pre-K for 4 year old. Has ample extra circular activities and special classes. Instill a positive attitude for kids and also teaches the value of working hard.

I have 2 kids attending this school, one in grade one and the other in pre-K. The school has excellent academic programs including reading, writing, and science, as well as social and outdoors activities. Teachers introduced disciplines through warm and friendly manners, creating an excellent enrionment for kids to learn and grow. My both kids love their classmates, teachers, and the school.
