We moved to the area from the valley and enrolled our children into Toltec Elementary and the administration is not use to working with the parents or even addressing concerns that are serious like forcing young Children who do not know what heat exhaustion is walk in 115°+ heat until they say stop. They only allow one option to pick up your child which can get expensive because of gas prices forcing us to wait in our car we’re not allowed to pick them up outside of the car or even step outside of a car. The administration can be very unprofessional and you can tell they are used to it being a small town where no one says a thing and they don’t take anyone’s concern serious. When we did they treated us like we were being crazy and even have a strong police presence at pick up just to enforce their bullying. They will use the police to bully parents. The administration even has their own kids enrolled and at a sporting event spoke disrespectfully about us parents in front of my kids and the sad thing is no one holds them accountable . It is my Goal to Work with the county and city and making the Eloy district a better place for EVERYONE. Not just those they favor. They do not have PTA And when they did finally organize it they made it right at the end of school when it’s impossible for a working parent to even attend it is very clear they do not want outsiders involvement and they will run the show as they please even when they are in the wrong.

I would not reccomend this school, I would keep your kids away. This school is very unperfessional, they do not listen to the kids side of the story if they are getting in trouble. Also it does not matter how sick you feel, they will they to give you meds more than anything, so I don't think the nurse is qualified because she is only a health clerk so she is not a medical perfessional. The admin obviously don't know how to treat the students, and obviously don't care at all. Some of the teachers are okay, but a lot of them are messed up to the kids. They say there is a no bullying policy yet I hear about a lot of bullying and criticism everyday. So, to sum it up, the school is umperfessional because the don't listen, the nurse is not qualified, they treat people horribly, and the don't inforce for the no bullying policy.

Parents, avoid this school at all costs. Your kids deserve better.

Toltec's Supt. is a pig and a fool who respects no one and no one respects him. Neither students, parents, or teachers/staff respect the leadership as he gives no respect to anyone. He runs the District by fiat, and is running it into the ground. Not the place for a quality education. Bad managment, bad leadership leads to a bad District, unhappy employees, unhappy parents, and unhappy/unsuccessful students.

this school has no place for kids who are ahead of everyone else the g.a.t.e.s program sucks and we do nothing but sit and do nothing. a fifth grade girl in the program is most likely smarter than all of us she's pretty smart , never gets in any trouble and I mean ever and she hasn't even got a good job or anything from teachers.we all feel real bad and that's how our school works
