    Ohhh they welcome family engagement sure because they are completely unwilling to do anything. They can’t even send home a report card anymore. You have to find it online and when we finally did it was full of mistakes. Teacher couldn’t even bother keep the assignments updated which drastically altered my child’s grades. This year has also seen a large rise in wasted school time. They do time wasting assemblies every Friday and the parents are never told what they are about. They recently bought a 3D printer with raised funds to “benefit the children” and all they use it for is to print plastic pre-trash for their school store that they waste educational time bringing the kids to every Friday. Any school with a student store should be ashamed. It should have no place in a school. This school just keeps going downhill. We are newly disappointed every year and it’s really sad for the kids.

    Just wanted to add that my son has had really fabulous teachers: Moitoso, Kelly and Rich. Wonderful!

    We have been at Markofer for several years and adore the teaching staff, the principal and Jackie in the office ! The entire staff know the children by name, are very personable and the children have thrived in all areas.

    My daughter has attended markofer from the beginning and is now in 4th grade. I have been blessed by all of her teachers and have continued to watch her thrive and grow futher. All schools have problems (imperfect world) but as a whole markofer had been great. I still have her 2nd grade teacher in contact with me because she has such a bound with her kids long term. great school
