This school does not give recess to any students they say that An extra PE class a week is given instead!!!! My first grader and my special needs 4th grader need the brain break that recess provides! If you have a special needs child such as Aspergers do not send your child to this school. The special ed teacher did not even come to the classroom to help him transition and feel safe to the new school which is a must with Aspergers! My fourth grader cried a few times that day. The school also dismissed a part of his IEP which is a Daily behavior and schedule as not needed! This is key to his feeling safe and me knowing if his medication needs adjusting!! Needless to say I ended up having to pay tuition and send my children to the city schools. If I could rate it a zero I would. The only good experience was that the 4th grade teachers seemed very good and the cafeteria workers were willing to make adjustments for my sons special food needs.
