Our family continues to be so pleased with our decision to select Saint Andrew's for our child's primary school education. The campus is incredibly engaging for kids of all ages. After extensive analysis of area private schools we picked Saint Andrew's for the following top 3 reasons and why we still absolutely love it:1. Outside time is a huge focus. Two playgrounds and huge open grass fields for sports play. A barn with goats & chickens. Weekly garden class and each grade has their own garden to grow various vegetables. An outdoor classroom with a wooded trail. 2. Learning - We love the small class size! My child loves being able to get to know all classmates, to work on her relationship building skills at a young age. There's no chance of her getting "lost". The curriculum has been engaging and challenging with measurable improvement. All kids seem to be excited to go to school everyday, and it's so reassuring to observe. She enjoys having a daily calendar and going to different "specials" each day like spanish, garden, technology, music, science, art, etc. Weekly newsletters and communication from the teachers has been top notch. The teachers and administration has been incredibly responsive to ALL of our questions and needs. It's truly impressive.3. Focus on community - The school offers frequent opportunities for family engagement and participation. We've met so many kind, friendly and welcoming families through Saint Andrew's. It's an incredibly comfortable and inclusive school setting.

My kids have been here since pre-K. The faculty and staff are extremely nurturing and provide excellent individualized attention to each child. Other private schools in the area do not provide as warm and supportive culture. Both my children have thrived here in both elementary in middle school. The school is ideal for families who want a warm, safe, and nurturing environment with an excellent academic record. Cost is also reasonable. Low drama school compared to the other local private schools.

This school is underfunded and poorly run, with a toxic social environment. Both of my children were very unhappy during their time here, and are now excelling academically, socially and athletically in other schools (one public, the other private). Don’t waste your money paying for your children to attend this school.

Not a good school if you are looking for a Christian environment. They continue to have high turnover of staff and for good reason. The Head of School is incompetent and incapable of leadership. Not worth it.

My child is a current student at the school and I will recommend this school for anyone who asks. Jeffrey Southworth is an amazing contact and a wonderful resource to get your child integrated into the school. He will bend over backwards, listen to any concerns and will answer any questions you have. Your child will learn the importance of personal responsibility and respect. The school has reasonable disciplinary procedures in place and the guidance counselor is very helpful with all students, especially navigating the changes in the middle schoolers. As a parent, you get the attention that you need in order for your child to succeed. Being involved in the school is an excellent way to get a good feel on its environment and I stress the importance of BEING INVOLVED even in a smaller role such as on a committee or as a room parent. It will help both you and your child have a successful and enjoyable time. The farm and garden is an amazing opportunity for these students and Mr. Vars is an amazing teacher with a lot of tenure. As with all schools in these times, the teacher attrition could be better, but I feel that it is a problem not only here, but everywhere. To note, I have no personal experience with the school as it related to students who have learning disabilities and ADHD. I will leave it at this, you get out of it what you put in.

This is a great small school, wonderful community of families and supportive environment. We are so thankful. The students get into competitive high schools following graduation.

The culture of Saint Andrew's is very poor. There are the "select" and the "rest". The "select" are always pictured in school photos, chosen for awards, etc. The "rest" are for the most part overlooked and are not accommodated. There is little emphasis on responsibility, accountability, integrity, and last but not least, spirituality, with foul language, socially unacceptable behavior, and disrespect of others tolerated. Grade changes in certain courses, including core courses, are made for the "select" to keep them happy and paying. This school is fostering values of entitlement, superiority, and overall the values of yesterday. Do your due diligence before sending your child to this school.

The middle school has been amazing during COVID-19. The teachers are responsive to my kid and the online classrooms were organized and ready to go Monday after spring break. The workload keeps her busy throughout a normal school day and out of my hair while I work from home. I have one child in public school who's barely given enough work to last past Monday morning. Teachers make video lessons, hold weekly virtual classes, and keep in touch with parents. I'm definitely impressed.

I am so glad that I found Saint Andrew's Day School. My child attends middle school there, and we could not be happier. The small class sizes, one on one attention, and strong academics make for an excellent academic environment. My child has made great friends and the school feels very safe. However, the true test is that my child actually comes home loving school and thanking me for sending him there. We have had a great experience!

Eye opening and disappointing for a Christian school with such great potential for making positive and lasting impacts on students, families, and faculty. It’s a shame that the administration is so stubborn, ignorant, and unresponsive to critical feedback and genuine concerns expressed by those paying their salaries. It seems the only way they will ever get the message is when the school loses its last tuition-paying family. Speaking of tuition, there’s much concern and frustration among parents about the facilities that are in a constant state of disrepair and disarray. The grounds of this “green school” are littered with trash, the interior/exterior paint is in desperate need of a refresh, several classroom window screens are torn, the parking lot is a minefield of potholes, and their American flag should have been replaced years ago. The farm has potential, but it looks like a homeless camp for animals with scattered rubbish, makeshift fencing, and shelters. Finally, there are two former mobile classrooms that are eyesores collecting rust.

Terrible. Grandchild was withdrawn prior to third teacher administrator mark was unable and unwilling to answer parents questions can't believe they meet accreditation requirements. Children are unsupervised at times. Very poor communication

We love this school! The classes are small and the administration really listens to parents and works hard to encourage kids to be their best selves.

I am extremely pleased with St. Andrew's. After searching for months for the perfect school for my children, we decided on St. Andrew's and couldn't be happier. The teachers and curriculum are top-notch. There is always a ton of communication between the parents and teachers. There is also a new Head of School this year who is very responsive to ideas and concerns. The pre-school is very nurturing and loving. The pre-schoolers receive music, Spanish, library and gym which is not offered in many pre-schools. The class size is really the big selling point. If you think class size is not important, think again. The Kindergarten classes have 12 students with TWO teachers full-time. My child was never really interested in writing or reading until he started at St. Andrew's. He loves school and wants to learn. Pick-up and drop-off is really easy with a car-line system. You can drop the kids off between 7:50-8:15 in the elementary school and pick up is between 3:10-4 basically which is a great. The art program is amazing! It's a green school! There are goats and chickens on site. The atheletic fields and playgrounds are super nice.

St Andrews has the perfect size classes and the school has a warm environment. The teachers and kids are happy (and it shows), the outdoor fields are great and the fact the Administration listens to parents and constantly tries to make the school better each year - appealing.

School provides structure and attention that my daughter needed. We have seen great improvement in her development since moving her to St Andrews. Fun and nurturing environment for the kids!
