I am so grateful to the WCA community. My children are thriving here. Smaller class sizes, teachers are so caring and nurturing. Strong curriculum. Great community and events also.

My granddaughter is reading exceptionally well, above her expected age level. They practice memorizing and at 1st grade completion she has a large section of Isaiah 53 memorized

WCA is a good school that desires to provide kids with a strong education and an opportunity to develop character that is all backed by Christian principles. There are fantastic teachers there and if you are able to connect with one, it does make the year something special. With kids spending the majority of their week at school, the type of environment they find themselves in can have a positive or negative impact on their character. With challenging academics and the influence of like-minded friends, family and school staff, it is worth the price of admission for our family.

In our experience the teachers have not been strong in following up on student development with regard to successful daily life skills. Example: correct use of a daily planner. It very much feels like they "tell" the kids to do something as opposed to "teaching or training" them. Additionally, our latest teacher has blown us off when trying to follow up on getting advanced notice of our child's upcoming tests in a particular subject where they blended the two different classes in the grade level together. We emailed her to ask that our child's tests in the subject be added to the weekly email update like everyone else's in the class are. This request was met with a reply that, "this would be to cumbersome"and that we should just email the other teacher. This was very frustrating and left me with the impression that the teacher really doesn't care about our family nor our student. At the very least, all faculty at a private school, need to recognize that we as families pay a significant sum of money to send our children to your school. And, that the experience we had isn't the level of service, professionalism nor care that is expected. Very disappointing.While the school has many positive attributes and qualities, such as a strong Christian focus and an awesome Dean in Mrs. Neiderman, our experience overall has been a mixed bag at best.

My son started attending 7th grade at Windsor in September. We have found this school to be welcoming, nurturing and academically challenging. The children learn in an integrative way so they see the connectedness between such diverse subjects as Science, Literature, History and Latin. This inter connectedness is reinforced by fun activities. Recently the Middle school held a Greek festival. They had been studying Homer in Literature, writing about Sparta in Language Arts, and learning about Ancient Greece in History. During the festival the students participated in a knowledge bowl and a modified Olympics. They also presented Greek dramas they had written based on classics like Helen of Troy. An overall great program. My son looks forward to going to school every day.

My son just finished his first year at WCA. He has grown so much in just the first year alone. His classes are challenging, however every morning he is excited to go back to school! The faculty and staff go above and beyond all expectations. I am so pleased with this school and would highly recommend sending your child here. We are looking forward to many more years with WCA.
