I can't say enough good things about this school! The teachers are wonderful and the school environment is amazing. To speak to the K curriculum, as a K teacher myself and having a child who completed K at St. Joe's, it is right on par with the basic curriculum that public and private schools are teaching. The children are reinforcing the alphabet, and practicing writing their lower and upper case letters. They have a rigorous reading program and I was amazed at how well my child was reading by the end of K and continues to flourish in 1st grade. This is a wonderful and nurturing environment and I have been overwhelmingly happy with how my children have grown.

My child attended K & 1st grade. Having been in daycare since he was 3 months old he was fairly advanced when he started there. I should have pulled him out the first year when on the first day of K, the teacher informed them that they would be learning the alphabet!!! Which my son learned when he was 2. We thought 1st grade would be better, but it was much of the same. Unfortunately, the curriculum was lacking and he was bored all of the time. He would come home crying that he was "too bad for St Joes!", broke my heart. He is now flourishing in his current school and I hope those first 2 years didn't damage his resolve.
