Good school experience overall but it's when sometjing comes up that a school's its true self! My Granddaughter attend GSA for 2 years. Was registered and paid for the 3rd year. This year, 7th grade. Over the summer it was necessary to prepare to move to a connecting county. She would only be at GSA for 5 weeks. The Friday prior to school starting the principal, VonDeylen uninvited her to start the school year there! Under the cloak of it being best for her! The hypocrisy stuns me! Still trying to get her registered at the local public school. Shameful!

Mostly good with a few issues surrounding discipline and curriculum. Great family-like atmosphere. Frequent teacher changes from year to year are hard to deal with but understandable given rules and how things are done within the large congregation of schools.

The preschool and elementary programs are top notch. The middle school programs leave much to be desired. There is a lack of robust curriculum and hand-on activity for the middle school age group. The staff, for the most part is kind, caring and compassionate. The bible lessons are clear and informative. There is a lack of extracurricular options. The Garden club is very comprehensive and lasts all year but the other clubs are minimal and those that exist are too short. The sports are much like sports would be in a PE setting, basic fundamentals. The abilities of the teachers are very good. They all know the subject matter they are teaching very well. Overall a good option for private elementary school.

I am very thankful to the Lord for Good Shepherd Academy and Little Lambs! My four children attend school here and we couldn't be happier! The staff is wonderful. They are caring and my children love their teachers. The Principal is wonderful. He always takes the time to listen and is excellent at his job. My children are receiving a Christ-centered education that is top notch. I know that when my children head off to school that they will be safe and well cared for at GSA! We are so blessed to have this wonderful school in our community.
