Timbercrest has been such an amazing school. We moved up to the area and they greeted us with open arms. My daughter absolutely loves going to school and gets upset when school is closed. Every day she comes home with something to tell us. The office staff has been very helpful and responsive when I have any questions. I honestly could have not picked a better school for my daughter. We are very happy.

The staff and principal are so engaged and want to make the environment fun for the kids to learn and thrive. They support the kids with great incentives and opportunities to help them put their best foot forward.

I just left Timbercrest as a 5th grade very satisfied. I came here for 5th grade because my mother came to work here, and I’m so glad I did. I was here in the 2020-2021 school year and even with COVID and masks; it was a blast! They staff is amazing and fun to be around. They love to party and just has an overall friendly vibe as soon as you meet them. They welcome you with wide open arms and cherish you as if you were their own. The teachers are always so excited to teach you, and you feel as though you want to be around them. In fifth grade you also switch between 2 teachers, one teaches reading and writing, while the other teaches math and science. This worked very well. The school is also always very positive. They reward you a lot, and encourage you to do your best always. From my mom and also learned they are very kind and generous to the teachers and other staff. I’ve only had problems with one teacher there, and they worked hard to solve it quickly and sufficiently. I don’t know if the staff is the same, but they were always amazing. Also I want to say I was a safety patrol there, and unlike my old school; we actually did things and made a difference. We worked almost side-by-side with teachers and staff. They also take care of bullies amazingly. So if you want an amazing school, definitely go to Timbercrest. I didn’t want to leave.

Both of my boys spent their whole elementary experience at Timbercreat. Every year, they have been placed in classrooms with amazing teachers. The administration definitely goes above and beyond for the kids, making sure their learning experiences are fun. I am so glad we called Timbercreat home away from home. My kids made great friends and received an excellent education. The parking lot is small, but this is an unfortunate issue with many schools in Volusia, as they are placed in neighborhoods. The staff try to accommodate the best they can in making drop-off and pick-up as smooth as possinble.

the school is becoming a joke with the parking I was called by the nurse that my child was sick so I rushed all the way here to pick her up and on upon arrival there is no parking absolutely anywhere you come into the school like normal and get trapped in a line that you cannot get out I came here to pick my daughter up from being ill and had to wait an hour to make it through this line to pick her up from parent pick up instead of being able to take her to a clinic or hospital to find out what is the issue and the school apparently seems to have no problem with this when the office was asked if this is normal pretty much I got a yes answer

Timbercrest truly cares about there students. The teachers are top notch and have always took an extra step to go beyond what they were required to do to help there kids. Both of my girls have been lucky enough to have Timbercrest as there school. A big thank you Ms Odle for having a special place in my daughters heart. She truly loves you.

My children have or still attending Timbercrest Elementary. This school has always been graded an A school. My children love this school (my 3rd grader entered their Gifted program this year :). Every teacher my children has had, they always speak of them with good remarks. My son (who attended Timbercrest a few years ago) had some difficulty in reading so his IEP staff went above and beyond to ensure that all his reading needs were met (even sent home extra reading materials so we can help him at home). The teachers go the extra effort to "teach" even when they are under constant scrutiny from Administrators to just achieve higher test scores. Bravo to Timbercrest Teachers for doing an excellent job!!!

I am a student who left this school because of one major big problem, but other than that its a great school nice, good kids fun kids big school lots of classes and bus looped and car loops are a bit crowded but overall I'd rate this school a some where around 5 to 10

this school has great staff, teachers and students. The PTA plans wonderful events, teachers are dedicated to making sure that each student gets what they need.

The staff are ridiculous, rude, and seem to not care about their job at all, they are like walking zombies with no sence of humor, very dry personalities!!!!. I have had nothing but issue after issue that are never correctly fixed in a timely manner, but most still linger. I do have to say the past two years my daughter has been pleasantly blessed with great teachers that seem to care about her education...as to why she is doing so well at this point. Also i'd like to mention that the walker/ car rider area in the after noons are a nightmare, it definitly needs to be a little better corrdinated or perhaps expanded.
