My kids have been in the district since Kindergarten they are now in Middle school. We have had nothing but great experiences. The school is really against bullying also.

Bullying is an issue. Teaches tend to look the other way and don't offer support when needed, they focus their funds, support on helping the top students.

The elementary school is great, but we are not impressed with the middle school in Delano ( 6th and 7th grader). My child is smart, but I specifically asked a few teachers for extra help during a very stressful time in our lives, and none was given (I asked them to check my child's agenda book to make sure it was being filled out because there were missing assignments). I spoke with staff several times and no one seemed to care, and no one did what I asked. I'm not sure if that was too much to ask, but it sure seems like it. The school is very proud of their ratings, but it's not the middle school teachers that are earning those (in my opinion). I'm sure some of them are great, but after being in several school districts, I am not impressed.
