Obviously one of the best elementary school my son has been in.. E.L.Miller Elementary school was his worst the teachers obviously were passing 1st graders who actually didn’t learn nothing..therefore my son got kept back the following year. So after that year of 1st for the 2nd time ..I moved by Chapel hill and the Teachers were awesome especially Mrs.Nelson she was a kool 2nd grade teacher along with Ms.Hadley and the 2nd grade crew. He passed. Now we at 3rd grade at Chapel hill and once again, big thanks to Mrs.Nelson and the 3rd grade crew (my son had Mrs.Nelson for (2nd &3rd).. he passed now this year 4th grade virtually and hybrid and I still give them a 100 for being involved and helping my son along with other kids! I give this school 4-5 stars keep it up!

This school needs a new principal Smith has a real problem that honestly needs to be treated. I have had the worst experience ever dealing with this principal and teachers. I have had to go to the school broad do to the fact the principal can’t have a conversation and be an adult when it comes to students that supposed to be attending this school. I try and communicate over the phone with someone to understand what will be going on with my children while their there I don’t get nothing but sarcastic remarks. I would think in this line of profession that the principal would actually act like an adult but she doesn’t and it’s pathetic. I should not have to call the school broad to get things resolved with my children when the principal can’t simply say what’s going on because she has issues that don’t concern me. DO NOT SEND YOUR KID(S) TO THIS SCHOOL IT WILL DO NO GOOD FOR THEM AND THEY WONT LEARN ANYTHING I SWEAR MY CHILDREN HAVING LEARNED NOTHING SINCE IVE ENROLLED THEM. HONESTLY THE WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE

It has been one incident after another at this school. Each time they see nothing wrong with how the teachers act. A boy put his hands around my daughter's throat. He was given 1 day suspension.

I am so grateful to this school and my son's teacher. He transferred to this school at the beginning of the school year from another school in douglas county that I was elated to get him out of. His 3rd grade teacher is WONDERFUL!!! He was on a 1st grade reading level when he started and with her dedication and instruction he is now on a 3rd grade level. We still have work to do with the 4th grade approaching but she has been terrific. I love the way she monitors the books the children check out from the library and insists that at least one of the two be on their reading level. Last year in the second grade at his former school he was being allowed to check out very simple books such as brown bear brown bear. This school or at least his teacher expects more from our children and in turn his confidence has grown. Thanks a bunch, Mrs. M ;-)
