- Submitted by parent on May 14, 2024Overall I feel the Reading Edge Academy is a really good school. I like that it’s semi private being a charter school. The communication and involvement from not just the teachers but the whole office is exceptional. I feel like I know everyone from Mrs Haner to Mrs Smith to Mrs Walton, to Mrs Smart and the list goes on. Really great school I have one attending this year , and 2 next year so Go Dolphins!

We appreciate the uniforms to remove bias’s, stop bully in its tracks, and reinforce respect for each other. I have volunteered several times and all the children are courteous and well-mannered. We appreciate the curriculum and the additional support to help our son be a stronger reader.

The teachers are very attentive and truly take the time to make sure your child is excelling in class. They make sure your child is meeting their goals. I highly recommend this school.
- Submitted by parent on March 07, 2024I had been hearing great things about REA for a while. This is my son’s first year attending and I can 100% agree, this school is amazing! Teachers and staff are very friendly, they are familiar with all the children and have great communication with parents. The curriculum is great and they provide the children with any help that is needed for them to succeed in school. My son is in Kindergarten and already reads stories and writes on his own! I also like the amount of parent involvement in this school.

From his kindergarten teacher giving him more challenging assignments to first grade encouraging speech therapy and his second grade teacher informing me that he is understanding the content just not the best test taker. My only complaint is the turn around for teachers which is no fault to the school.
