This review offers an honest perspective on the school from a parent who doesn't meet the listed requirements. Deal Elementary is praised as fantastic by some but not by all. You will love this school if your child is white or bi-racial, passing as white or neurotypical; if your child has connections with the right circles, such as relatives or parents who do, their experience at this school may be different. The school has excellent teachers and supportive staff. While your child will receive a quality education, they may also face bullying or feel excluded if they do not meet specific social and cultural expectations. Communication is strong within the school community, but students who do not fit in may be scrutinized more closely and blamed first for any issues. The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) is very active. It organizes many activities for the children, but participating can be challenging if you aren't a stay-at-home mom or part of their social group. Your child will receive an excellent education, but it’s worth considering the potential mental health costs involved.

This is an excellent school. I really think it should be rated a 10. I couldn't ask for anything more in an elementary school. Amazing prinicipal, teachers, and programs. It's just a nice supportive place for a child to learn and grow.
