My son performs above average in his class, he also has a bit of an attitude problem (he's 5...). His teacher suggested this enrichment behavioral program. I complied because I just want whats best for my son. He thrives in that program. Here's why: there are more than one teacher and its a small class. In his regular class there are 17 students to ONE teacher. He needs a bit more attention than they can offer. His teacher still complains about his behavior and went as far to ask if he was autistic and tried to refer us to south community..... his pediatrician has no concerns about his development. So, in the end he will be going to Emerson Academy. This school does not foster individualism or encourage intelligence.

i went to kemp for 6th grade and it was horrible. the students picked on each other and cussed. while there there were quiet a few fights that went on and someone got closed in a locker. this is why i hate dayton public schools.
