    Oakwood School District in general refuses to provide even basic level legally required accommodations for students. The facilities are unkept and non ADA compliant. This district is not as elite and high performing as it presents. Parents in this district ensure their children's success by supplementing their education with tutors or the district simply bullies out under performing students with constant harassment of the child and refusing to provide any services that would help the student succeed.

    Incomparable in terms of academics, enrichment, teacher quality and class sizes. The negative? If you or your child wishes to fit in socially its best to be rich, white, brilliant, athletic and socially gifted. Oakwood is a Mecca for over achievers. Normal folks may be happier elsewhere.

    Wow, Harman is above and beyond any other public school. The classes are small and all parents are involved. They have spanish, arts, music starting in 1st grade. My son has loved all his teachers. Highly recommend!
