School is not a good environment or supportive. Needs tons of improvement. Stay on top of advocating for your teens because they don't care.

Lexington JHS is honestly an amazing school. The teachers are very supportive and the academics are very comprehensive here. You really get a lot of chances to develop character, leadership skills, and general study habits. A lot of thought it put into mental health (Be kind to your mind club, open councilors, etc.) and I'd say there are a lot of ways you can meet like-minded people. Lexington obviously puts a lot of effort into their events, and ASB does an amazing job carrying them out. Extracurricular programs really dig into each subject, and Lexington definitely wins most of the sports games. The only problem I'd have with this school is issues regarding safety on campus. There is a bullying problems, especially when it targets LGBTQIA+ students. Sexual harassment issues were not properly addressed which led many people to be hurt. Even after multiple accounts, the school did not attend these issues. But * in most * cases, the campus is pretty safe.

My son was too shy and his teacher did not fail to notice. They just barely started but his teacher already encouraged him to stand in the podium to say something thrice already. He was also very shy so on the first day, he did not ask where the cafeteria is and just sat at the corner then again, his teacher noticed it and he got lunch for him from the cafeteria. Not only that, during the first week, he was showing signs of anxiety and they acted right away by having him seen by a social worker/ counselor. This is very impressive. Service and compassion to my son was displayed couple of times. An added bonus: their principal is approachable, friendly and helpful. Thank you so much to his Lexington family and most especially to Mr. Rae, one of his teachers!

I am VERY PLEASED with Lexington!! My child came from a private elementary school and I was worry about transitioning to a public school. My child loves this school and is getting a great education! The office staff are so nice and friendly and I love Mrs. Brown's phone calls letting parents know what is going on at school. This school cares about their students academics and social being. I love their Kindness Matter program too!! Love this school so much!!

Hey well last year in was a seventh grader there and now I Austin going to be an 8th grader...so lexington is a great school but its the students that are not so great they start rumors and those rumors are really nasty I was a victim but everything else is great the teachers the dances and so much more hope to see u there.....or your child?!? ^_^ bye

This is a horrible school. The teachers are good, but the office is horrible. They do not care about the students and will not help them if they are in need of help. I recommend that the office should get nicer people that will help the children out. My son was kicked out of the office when he needed help and the office had blamed him and said he should leave or go around the school to find someone that will help him.

I just love this school ! I have a boy that has IEP's and this is the BEST school for his special needs. They have an awesome team and always there to assist him and help him be the best him he can be. The after school homework is great and Ms. Fernandez (Special Day Class) is the BEST TEACHER ever ! She always keeps me informed of anything that needs to be addressed. Ans really goes the extra mile for her kids.

Last year I was so excited that my daughter was starting 7th grade at Lexington. I heard great things about the school and my daughter couldnt wait to attend. TERRIABLE SCHOOL!! The teachers at this school DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT YOUR CHILDS EDUCATION. YOU CAN NEVER GET A HOLD OF A TEACHER. The principle and vice principles do not return your calls. They do not know how to deal with children. I was shocked and angry how they dealt with my daughter. I will be going to the Anaheim school district to complain about numerous incidents. PARENTS, SEND YOUR KIDS TO A DIFFERENT JR. HIGH. BEWARE!!

I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!! I am an eighth grader and the thing i love most abouit the school is that 99.9% of the teachers care about each and every student and will do there best to make sure that they do the best they can. I had a great year as a seventh grader and this year has been just as amazing as well, if not, better :)))
