Worst School ever. Tecacher give zero homework to my children. And then yell at them for getting BAD GRADES. THEY DONT DEAL WITH BULLIES AND ENCOURAGE BULLING PROBABLLY.

I am extremely happy with the school. My daughter is in Kindergarten and I see tremendous improvement in her. There is no doubt that the school puts a lot focus on academics but at the same time develops a strong character in its student. I feel very happy that I made the right decision relocating to this area

Terrible experience so far. Student/teacher ratio is NOT 18:1 like claimed. More like 25:1. My son is in 3rd grade and there are 8 third grade classes. His teacher needs help in the classroom, never even looks at notes I send in or emails or his homework. There are no windows in the classroom and it is freezing cold. Kids are wearing winter jackets, in the state of Georgia in August and September!! The teacher seems like she would be a better fit teaching older students. There is a rigorous curriculum but no fun or "out of the box" approach to learning. We moved here for the highly rated schools, but this was not what we expected. Students needs a diverse approach to their education. So disappointed. All they care about is grades and test scores and how much work they can "squeeze out " of each kid. Looking to move for next yr.

The teachers, principle, and staff genuinely care about the children. They work together to create a positive learning environment where each child grows confident. We could not be happier to have both of our girls at Brookwood.

My son attended Big Creek Elementary and after the rezoning, he started at Brookwood Elementary this year. I see a huge difference between the two. The teachers at both schools are awesome but it was a little frustrating the way Big Creek does it's fundraising. All year long, we got fliers to donate, to buy etc. I like how Brookwood does it's fundraising. At the beginning of the year, Brookwood requests a donation and that is so much easier. One of things that was very frustrating with Big Creek is the endless amount of gifts they ask for teachers. I personally think it's unethical and unprofessional. This is an educational institute and the focus in on keeping the teachers pleased all year long. We have been with Brookwood for a year now and I have to say, this is not an issue at this school. As far as academics is concerned, both schools are excellent.
