My kids just transferred to this school from another state. The teachers so far are very friendly and approachable. Both of my children's teachers send home communication sheets that clearly lay out what the children will be doing the following week. The afterschool "daycare" that is associated with the school is terrible. The women that work the program sit on their behinds and yell at the kids the whole time. Mine where there for a week and every day when I would drop them off and pick them up all the kids where sitting on a filthy floor watching movies that have fowl language in them. For snack the kids were fed doritos and told they have to go to the water fountain for drink. Both my children told me that the women that work there are very friendly to the grown ups and as soon as the parents would leave they yell at the kids with a bullhorn.

Bob Sikes works hard to challenge students but in a way that will make them come to school with a smile. Students know that this is a safe place to learn social, athletic and academic skills.

Love the school and the principal is wonderful. I have 4 children that attend this school. We have been at this school for 3 years and have always been welcomed be the principle teachers and staff. Some of my children have problems, learning, and behavioral, and all the staff has been very commited to helping them over come their own indivdual issues. I always recieve keep great communication form everyone. They are the only school in the area that I have found that was able to help children with needs and that was willing to actually take the time to HELP them. One of my children that has a learning disibility not only was moved into a general education class, but has also made all A's and 2 B's on the report card. I am amazed by the effort that everyone at the school puts into every child!

Schools Office staff is very friendly and professional. Some teachers are not. We had a bad experience with one teacher. She was too busy with her own kids attending the same school and she did not have time to address students that were falling behind. She went to the extend to state that my child had a mental syndrome and he should be put in a "special" school. I had him evaluated by a professional and he is fine. He was frustrated. He got transfered to another public school a week before the FCAT test, very timely. He got tutoring by caring, and dedicated teachers, he made the FCAT scores that year. The school focus on favorites or teachers pets if the parent volunteers in the class or school. I felt at one point that the teacher needed diversity training too.
