So far, I have nothing but great things to say about Antioch. The front staff, teachers and teachers assistance have all been wonderful. My daughter is very hyper and all of the staff worked very well with her and myself to help her succeed. The building is secure and I feel like my daughter is safe there. The school also puts on a lot of fun events and fundraisers!

Nothing but excellence at Antioch Elementary School. I am a proud Aviator parent and shout to all who are considering a move or buying a home in this area only consider the Antioch district!

Antioch has earned their "A+" status. The staff is amazing, the children..not so much. Each of children have struggled to find kids that are kind/nice/friendly. If one of my children had this problem, I might think it was my child but all 3 of kids (in different grades) struggle with this. The school is newer and clean. Again, the staff is fantastic!! They are always doing new things to challenge my kids. If I have a concern or question they respond to me the same day..always. I have had a couple of unique situations with the principal and she has gone above and beyond to be fair and make right of the situation. If you are moving to Crestview this is by far the better of the 2 elementary schools to attend.

Words can't describe how much we miss this school, for our daughter. We just PCS'd and her new school is leagues behind, academically. And their safety/security can't even touch that of Antioch's. They also don't have the military child resources. I could go on and on about Antioch's quality and academic excellence. If/when we return to the area, we will base our home search on zoning into Antioch, again. Our daughter has sad, on multiple occasions, that she "misses her old school." The admin and faculty here are genuinely attentive and progressive. Regardless of the frustrating "common core" curriculum, we would take this school back in a heart beat.

This is the first year my children are attending Antioch. The first day of school they sent my son to the bus riders instead of car pool lane. The following day i had to take my children to an appointment , the front office lady came off rude, she portrayed as if though i was being an inconvenience to her . My children attended Riverside for the past 2 years never a complaint everyone is very polite and ready to help. This only being the first week lets see how it pans out.

No communication until a big issue arises! Problems? answer is to be tested and medicated. I have lived in almost every state in the US and have never seen what I have in the past year at this school.

School is great as long as your kid does not have any learning issues. We have had audiologist, speech therapist and her physiologist write letters to the school saying our child had a speech and comprehension issues and we were basically told nothing could be done about it until she was already failing. It didn't matter what the opinion was of the professionals , the teachers and the IEP lady knew more then they did and said there was no problem with our daughter at all. This has been on on going battle for the last 2 years.

My child has been at this school for 3 years and has struggled the whole time! When asked for extra help every time we were turned down and told that he was tested for a special IEP program but was not eligible! It was also suggested to us numerous times to maybe consider medicating him to help focus well that didn't work either! If your child has a hard time testing I do not recommend this school! Several others in the area I hear are better equipped with helping children who need that extra step! The principal and staff will also make it clear that they don't have special programs because they are not a Title 1 school!!! So glad to be leaving!!!!

Teachers and staff are professional and courteous. However, students are taught the test and free thinking is NOT encouraged. This school may rate as an A+ but this does not mean that students are being taught to think, just take tests.

This is very much a teach to the test school, so if you are looking for your child to be educated to be a factory worker you have come to the right place.

My oldest daughter attended Antioch 3rd - 5th grade. We loved it. We left Okaloosa county for a couple of years and during that time my second daughter had to go to other elementary schools. I never found another school that I thought was as good as Antioch. I don't believe that any school is perfect but I think Antioch is close enough. The principal is great and stays on top of everything. And majority of teachers are wonderful!

I had an initially bad experience when my daughter started at this school with a teacher that seems to be the exception to the rest, she politely told me that my child was not on grade level and that she didn't know why I had put her there. Well after meeting after meeting with the principal, guidance counselor and the teacher it was discovered that she, my daughter, had an issue with staying on task so her initial placement test were given to her again in a more structured setting and she pretty muched aced them. That particular teacher is still there and I am thankful that they saw fit to move my child to a different teachers class and helped her to excell...and all the remainder have been nothing short of GREAT!!! I feel that this is an awesome school that provides a safe and well rounded learning environment.
