All the teachers are really nice and the school is in a nice condition. Not a lot of bullying.

The principal is very down to earth and accommodating, however some of the 7th grade teachers need some professional developing. I'm a teacher transitioning into school leadership and it's clear to any educator with a trained eye that there are a few teachers in this school that do the bare minimum. I know as a school leader there isn't much you can do with an old tenured educator, however a push is definitely needed.

Comprehensive and effective learning strategies employed here, we are incredibly fortunate to have such a wealth of resources available in the only k-8 school in the district.

This school isn't great or even good. Some teachers should not be teaching at all , bullies in the class, don't recommend at all. Terrible experience there for my kids.

I am so pleased with this school i can't say enough good things about it. As a parent i am strongly encouraged to get involved. The teachers really try to get to know each and every student and meet their needs.

I give this school a 5-star rating. The students are well disciplined and respectful, especially to authority. I'm very proud to be appointed as a crossing guard on the N. Lehigh Avenue tunnel-side. I would also like to express my appreciation to the Hillside Avenue PTA people for the kind gift and thank you card that was hand-delivered to me on duty. Thank you very much for everyone's kindness and appreciation. It's great to be back on-duty.

This school is fantastic! The principal is among the best in the district and our kids have excelled and challenged themselves. The community involvement is extensive and it shows.

This is my son's first year at HAS, 7th grade, and first time in public school. I am thrilled with my choice of schools. My son loves his new school and teachers. First day of school, he thanked me for sending him there! The principal is hands on and cares about the students! At the new student orientation, the principal gave us a personal tour of the facility and went over all the rules and answered any questions that we had. He also made sure that the new students knew where his office was located and told them that if they had ANY problems/questions to go to him directly. I had friends tell me that Cranford had an excellent school system. I totally agree with them!

Great school! Excellent teachers. Dedicated principal. Wonderful staff. Lot's of after school activites. Great parent involvement.
