Phenomenal leadership, instructional, and support staff on location. Parents are constantly kept informed, some might even say too much, Ha! ** Caution** The local Board of Education, rather than keep the very effective, top in the state "status quo" is implementing a "Re-imagine" strategy which is negatively affecting the higher grades.

My oldest child just completed Kindergarten this year and we can't believe what was achieved in just a half day session. My child is reading, writing and solving math problems. Good friends were made. Lots of fun memories. Most importantly my child is truly ready for first grade. As parent we can't wait and my child is eager as well. The only way kindergarten could have been better is if the district extended to a full day session. Kudos to the teacher, principal and team for getting these children off to a great start. The effort by all staff is contagious which encourages a lot of PTA and parent involvement. The annual variety show is a must along with field day, class trips, the fall festival and so many other great activities. Stay tuned for updates on first grade. A high bar has been set but I'm confident the principal has set us up for more great milestones.

I have 2 children at BPS and so far am extremely impressed by the teachers, the curriculum, the extra activities, eg, the BPS olympics to build team spirit and cohesiveness. The prinicipal is very approachable and knows every single student and parent by name.

All four of my children have gone through Brookside Place School and I could not be more happy with their experience there. Some of the highlights are the high level of instruction and care by the teachers, the way the principle knows every parent by name, and the community atmosphere of the exciting events for the children year round. We feel so lucky to have had the perfect little school for our children to have a happy childhood in.

We are new to the area and so impressed with the administration and staff. Especially in light of the recent flood, they all have been phenomenal. In response to the review about racism, we are sensitive to the issue also and are confident if/when the issue arises (as it will anywhere public or private) the teachers and staff will be supportive and proactive.

Bravo to the superindent and principal for working hard to get our childen to school despite the damages to our beloved school brought on by hurricane Irene. Our town was devastated by the storm, but so many are working together to get those affected back on their feet.
