All my kids and grandchildren have attended this school. Amazing training some of the outstanding memories are of the children public speaking in front of the school body and parents and visitors while the younger children watch. Setting SMART goals that are attainable and realistic, hats off in school, respect for others. My oldest son graduated from Cornell at the top of his class and all my kids and grandkids have done well due to the skills and study habits developed at this elementary school. The awards are also in life style challenges like the kindergarten walking challenge. The Virgil kids always seem to be among the top performers at the high school in sports. I love the stars hanging in the hallway of former Virgil Students who have achieved excellence. This school goes way beyond acedemics they learn lifestyle skills that develop true leadership.

It is a small country school that is very well run and has the feel of a family not just a school. The teachers and students are great.

The close-knit community in and out of the school. Virgil school takes care of their own with the Virgil community standing behind the school. It's small enough to where all the teachers and principal know who every child and parent are.
