Raney Intermediate is an amazing place for students to grow and thrive through our International Baccalaureate (IB) program! From the IB Ambassadors after-school enrichment program to the Learner Profile Awards that celebrate students’ unique strengths, there are so many opportunities for kids to shine.Raney goes above and beyond with grade-level field trips that connect students’ classroom learning to real-world experiences. In 2024, 6th and 7th graders explored the wonders of the California Science Center. This year, 6th graders ventured into the Chino Creek Wetlands and Educational Park, 7th graders delved into history at the Richard Nixon Library, and 8th graders are eagerly anticipating their visit to Descanso Gardens.

The Raney AVID program is doing incredible work in preparing students for high school and beyond! Students not only get a taste of what it’s like to be on a college campus, but they also begin to understand the importance of setting goals and working hard to achieve them. The program emphasizes team-building and strong connections to school, helping students build confidence and foster a sense of community. The AVID class is more than just a place for learning; it’s a space where students come together to support one another, build leadership skills, and prepare for the challenges of high school and college. The Raney AVID program not only focuses on academic growth but also nurtures personal development, setting students up for a successful future! I highly recommend the Raney AVID program.

Raney aspire for the emotional and academic well being of the student. The school’s goal and actions align with providing a safe and engaging environment for its students.Raney offers multiple varied academic enrichments after school and during lunch. The school has multiple programs that students can join including AVID, STEM and IB. Further, the students get to go on a Fieldtrip at least once during the academic year. Raney also have multiple tiers of support for it’s EL population including extra support in class and ELA enrichment lessons after school. The school also has fun events for the students to celebrate national holidays. They have a Fright Night during Halloween and a Winter showcase during the month of December and many more.

Raney Intermediate School is an amazing school with the best staff who cares about their students and families. From the excellent customer service in the office, to friendly visible administrators when students are dropped off and picked up, and of course the best teachers. Everyone there cares so much.

My kiddo transferred to Raney this year and it has been a wonderful experience for him so far. Starting with a top of the line principal, experienced teachers, and great extra currículum activities. It seems like there's something for every kid, depending on their interests. I'm thrilled he is going to this school! Anti-bullying education and involvement are also a plus!

I can go all day talking about the school. This school is very good. Their classrooms are very organized and are a learning environment. I can say that I never stepped in a classroom that was messy unorganized or that the teachers were mean. If I could I would go back to that school

As a parent of a student I honestly say that if you have to send your child to this school make sure they are in a special program like STEM or IBY programs. At least those programs, and it's teachers, are trained and seem to have higher standards and expectations. Otherwise the general education students receive a very poor education. My student has realized this on their own. The disparity is that obvious.

I ATTEND RANEY JR. ALSO IT WAS AND STILL IS A WONDERFUL SCHOOL. MY OLDEST SON ATTENDS RANEY. THE TEACHERS HERE ARE AMAZING. THEY'VE HELPED HIM SO MUCH, I KNOW MY SON IS READY TO MOVE ON TO HIGH SCHOOL WITH CONFIDENCE, KNOWING THAT THESE TEACHERS TOUGHT HIM WELL. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE APART OF WHO HE BECOMES. THANK YOU VERY MUCH FROM ONE PROUD PARENT IN CORONA CA

I was afraid to come to this school, and for a reason. Every day I was bullied and the teachers literally said 'boo too, go suck it up' and there was no help even academically. Only one of my teachers in all of my years there actually saw me as a human being and took her time to work with the class.

It should be noted that as of last year, there is a new principal and many of the teachers were also replaced. I've noticed there is also more security this year especially outside in the mornings. All these changes have really made Raney an excellent school. I hesitated based on the reviews here and the scores, but I'm very surprised and happy with the school. Some kids have even transferred from CFIS to Raney because it was a better fit.

Great School, and Great teachers. Love the IB Program being offered there. It participates in Math and Science competitions which most other schools don't offer.

After moving to corona i was expecting to have barely any friends but insuring i will make some in time. After more than half of the school year i barely have any. The teachers are mean. There are various bullies. And there education programs are horrible. Ive been extreamly depressed once i got here. sad every day of my breathing life.

Two of my grandchildren have attended this school. I am shocked at the behavior of the students toward teachers and of the bullying and fighting that seem to be permitted at this school. It is not a good environment for students who wish to learn.

The Schools honor program is amazing it helped my child a lot because it challenged my child and made her work harder.
