It's alright at best, 2021 was sucky for school but it's gotten better aside from some of the teacher's need to chill.

Both of my children have had positive experiences at CMS. The teachers and administration work diligently to do what is best for students. I would love to see more parents and community members become involved in this lower socioeconomic school. CMS is an urban/inner-city middle school in a rural setting (due to relocation of the new building). The location adds to the outside involvement/resources issue. Teachers here work twice as hard to make differentiated plans to meet ALL student needs, attend extra-curricular events when parents can’t, and pay out of their own pockets for disadvantaged students for the same amount of comoensation as all other CCS staff. Teachers go to CMS because they want to be there.

This school is honestly horrible. Bullying is a constant problem, and fistfights are far more common than they should be. The students are of below average intelligence, and due to this, the advanced students have little hope of getting the education they need.

The teachers arnt motivational and inspiring. They give us sheets and hardly any hands on activities. Sometimes a student will cry after a teacher gets mad at them. That shouldn't happen. I think it's the worst middle school ever. I get up in the morning and I don't want to go. I only go because of my friends. I feel like the gifted program isn't all it could be.

I haven't really gotten bullied that much in middle school. It's the BEST middle school EVER to me
