The school building itself is a ancient building. The bathrooms are broken and some of the stalls are overflowing. The building itself was made in the 1960's, and they never tried to fix it. The ceiling tiles sometimes just fall out, because nothing is holding them. The teachers don't really care about teaching the students either. They give us packets about topics we never have learned before, and require us to do 3-page homework packets for only 30 minutes maximum. Some of the teachers are very nice, but most of them get paid so little, that they don't really care about anything. The special education program is also "not the best". I have seen many children with special needs out in the halls, alone, crying, nobody even caring about them. They forbid us from touching snow, but apparently bullies are not against the rules. All in all, the school is complete trash.

I have had multiple children attend the Concord Middle School which used to be very good, however the current administration has caused it to go downhill. The administrators got rid of the good teachers and the new, younger teachers don't know how to teach. The admin are heartless, uncaring data-gatherers who could care less about actual students and families or retaining staff. My child currently in the Concord Middle School is unimpressed by the experience due to the teachers and especially admin. who don't care.

Is any middle school great? The teachers and principal are all good. The issue is that computers are introduced as the soul mechanism for completing homework starting in 6th grade. For children of this age where there brains have not developed and make poor decisions, this only serves as a challenge to learning. In my experience, kids spend so much time managing the technology or getting distracted with video games, YouTube, and social media; they get little work done. I've been told that kids that start using the computer at this age do better on standardized tests. However, the same correlation can be made between standardized test performance and income levels. If they removed the computer, this would be a 5 star school as it has everything else going for it.

The definition of incompetence. The administration should be investigated for the harm their incompetence has inflicted on the children in this district. The superintendent, the principal and the vice principals are not qualified to work at a Burger King and the school ratings reflect their incompetence.

Can I give zero stars? Worst school we have ever encountered. Leadership is beyond incompetent.

This school is a disaster. Honestly, the great school rating of 6 out of 10 is generous. The academic growth rating of 4 out of 10 is overly generous! Prepare to learn nothing here. A total joke of a school.

This is the best school I have ever been to. I have learned so much within one year, and I have learned to enjoy going to school. It has become less of a chore and more of something I want to do. I'm really disappointed because this is my first and last year at the middle school. I never want to leave; that is how good it is.

Overall it has been terrible. We moved from a wonderful district and are beyond disappointed here.

While some teachers are excellent, the overall level of incompetence at this school is off the charts.

Most of the Concord Middle teachers are excellent: well educated, creative, kind, and hardworking. Both my children thrived intellectually, emotionally, and socially. Unfortunately, the current principal is incompetent. She does not communicate well and she does not return emails or phone calls. Well, she does respond to "certain parents". She plays favorites with parents, teachers, and student.

I was forced out of this school due to bullying. Teachers, administrators, coaches, all did absolutely nothing to help me. I was beat up, taken out of school on cruches, verbally abused. Eventually, i had to change schools and go to a private institution, causing financial hardship on my parents. No attention was given to me, the teachers routinely said "kids will be kids." I hope things have changed there, because of the faculty there, i was suicidal till my first year of college.
