This is a great school despite it’s not so great reputation. The new principal has been doing a great job and there hasn’t been any recent issues.

I don’t like this school, the students have a lot of behavioral issues and refuse to take accountability for their actions. A lot of bullying and ostracism towards those who didn’t even do anything, don’t have weird interests, behave well, and generally conform the society’s standards. Students gossip a lot and like making those who they don’t like feel bad about themselves. The principal is nice, and most teachers are nice, however I have had issues about this before.

The sixth grade teachers partner together and core Math/Science and English/History so they each team has the same students. This gives the teachers more time with their students and helps the students with their transition to Pine Hollow Middle School. It was a great experience.

For me it is the best place. Students who want to prepare, even now, for college have a chance to do so. There are resources for that difficult middle school age, and there are enthusiastic adults on campus who want to teach and help students develop character.

I have had two children go through Pine Hollow over the course of 10 years. My last one is there now and is miserable. Admistration is lacking any enthusiasm. Bullying and sexual harassment is not addressed. Overall this school needs a facelift.

This school has a few excellent staff including the OT, Art Teacher, and Support Staff. The Principal needs to protect the students from teachers practicing illegal sharing of information. Also teachers need to be stricter on dealing with bullying during class.

They have improved every year for the last five years our kids have attended. Higher scores and higher expectations. It could use some TLC, but there are some good people there.

My daughter is a sixth grader at the school, and I think the school and teachers are not very helpful. Seems to me that the teachers are trying to cram so much topics in a short period of time and don't care whether the students understand the topic. In addition, when students asks questions, they do not want to clarify or explain.
